The Cascina Bricchetto farmhouse can be found at Trezzo Tinella (Cn) about 10 Km from Alba and 3 km about Barbaresco. It is a traditional Le langhe stone farmhouse, that is probably the oldest in the county, warm in winter and fresh in the summer. It is situated at the top of a hill surrounded by vines and hazelnut groves, at an altitude of about 550 meters, and includes two “Houses under the sky of the Langhe', renovated out of the central part of the old building. The view is extraordinary; a sequence of hills overlooked by Monviso and the Monte Rosa massif. The houses are completely independent, are equipped with balcony, hearth, and all home comforts and has been furnished with both antique and very modern pieces. Cà dra Topia (The Grape Pergola House) The Quality Certification obtained by 'Italian Hospitality' is the best guarantee for you. On the ground floor there is a small entrance hall leading to an open plan kitchen/ living room /dining room with comfortable sofas . The kitchen is very well equipped for the amateur or gourmet chef. There is also one double bedroom and bathroom with a shower. On the first floor reached by a beautiful solid wooden spiral staircase, a real work of art, there are two further wooden floored double bedrooms, both with ensuite shower rooms. Each bedroom has a balcony with a splendid view of the surrounding hills and the Alps dominated by Monviso. The bathrooms are supplied with soap, shampoo and hairdryer. In the grounds of Cascina Bricchetto you will find a covered area for eating al fresco,barbecue, a covered parking area, table tennis, various toys for the children e.g. swings, sandpit, rocking horse, skittles. From the house you can take many quiet country walks along the small country lanes. Our breakfast is rich, offers local products made according to old recipes, appreciated also by Slow Food that we put into the Guide 'Inns of Italy'. At guests ' disposal: free wireless internet access inside and outside home, garage, terrace, barbecue, table tennis, playground for children, equipped with the agreement of our fruits and vegetables production. . Deposit: full 30% of the total expense must be paid upon arrival in cash, this payment will be used as guarantee to cover any damage as well as the cost of the consumptions.This will be returned to you at the end of your stay (minus heating and tourist tax and maybe breakfast, wine...) assuming there are no breakages. A walk or a drive of about 3 km will bring you to the village of Barbaresco. While Alba, a town with medieval towers, old arcades, and museums is about 10 Km far away. This town is regarded as the 'capital of the Langhe' and hosts many famous events, such as: “Vinum – presentation and tasting of the wines of the area, and of the most typical local products” (Spring); “Market-exhibition of the white truffle of the Langhe and the Roero”, together with a sequence of events both cultural and gastronomic (Fall).
