Located just 15 minutes from Gros Morne National Park in Big Bonne Bay Pond, Newfoundland and Labrador - Pine Martin House at the Jackladder is a cozy, fully equipped cottage designed to meet your every need. Cottages are located on private road yet close enough to avail of our central facilities which include a fully licensed restaurant, well stocked convenience store, gas bar, lounge and RV park. With clothes washing facilities available through the RV Park - all your needs are met. Whether looking for a base from which to explore beautiful Western Newfoundland in summer or searching for the best snowmobiling and off trail riding in Eastern Canada, The Jackladder welcomes you. Fabulous!
This cottage is absolutely beautiful and luxurious. It's decorated with class and taste and has everything a family or group would want, from heated floors to spacious rooms and all of the modern conveniences. In addition, the Jack Ladder lounge, restaurant, convenience store and gas station are all just short distance away on the same property, with very friendly and accommodating staff. This is a very comfortable home away from home in a quiet wooded location. I would highly recommend these accommodations to anyone.

Absolutely Fabulous!
We stayed here as a last minute booking and were able to get two cabins for our group of 6. We were in the area for a weekend of winter hiking in Gros Morne. These cabins are truly beautiful! They are extremely tastefully decorated with leather furniture and coordinating accessories. The cabin has 4 single beds and extra cots if required. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The floors are heated which is so wonderful in Newfoundland when even in summer, it can get chilly. It is very convenient to have the Gas bar/Convenience Store/Restaurant and Lounge just feet away. The Manager was very friendly and did all he could to make our group feel comfortable. We all thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and felt so comfortable in these gorgeous cabins. If you are looking for a great base to explore Gros Morne and the beautiful communities in the area, then look no further! Thanks again.

About the neighbourhood
Jackladder Cottages are located in Scenic Big Bonne Bay Pond. Great ATVing and biking area as the trails go forever. Bonne Bay Pond is also a beautiful boating area where the fishing is second to none. With gasoline, restaurant, convenience store, lounge and RV Park nearby it makes for the perfect visit along the Viking Trail. In winter there is some of the best snowmobiling in Eastern Canada and in summer you can take in the many activities and festivals the West Coast and the Great Northern Peninsula has to offer. Our cottages are minutes from Gros Morne National Park Gateway.

If you are looking for ATV/ Snowmobile Rentals we can help out. Boat Tours are also available on the lake or within the vicinity. Fishing? No problem - we can arrange trout fishing tours as well as family fun day tours on the lake with lunch provided.

The Jackladder is located just 15 minutes from Deer Lake Airport. If you're arriving by ferry via Port aux Basques, travel east to Deer Lake and turn off on route 430. We are approximately 15 minutes traveling north on route 430.
