The Space The flat has only just recently been completed and so benefits from brand new furnishing and appliances ( including a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, oven, grill, microwave, stove, large flat screen tv and dvd player). There are two spacious double bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe space. Each of these rooms has direct access onto a separate and private south facing patio area complete with garden furniture. Wifi is provided at no extra cost. A baby cot, high chair, playpen and even a buggy can easily be arranged at no extra charge. There is an extra large trampoline located at the bottom of the shared garden and it can be used by any children staying in the property. The flat takes up the entire ground floor of a large family holiday home often occupied by the owners. The flat is completely independent and private, but the occupiers have the advantage of knowing that if they have any issues with the property during their stay, the owners should be on hand to respond promptly. The Neighbourhood Trébeurden and it's region has so much to offer potential visitors! It is only an hour away from the Roscoff ferry terminal and It has some of the most beautiful beaches in Brittany (many would even say the most beautiful beaches in the whole of France!) The stunning plage de Tresmeur, only a ten minute stroll downhill from your property, is one example with over 1 km of soft velvety white sand and crystal clear waters. It has a lovely underdeveloped seafront promenade with charming restaurant and bar terraces overlooking the beach. Here one can enjoy an 'aperitif', some 'moules marinières' or even a 'crêpe' while taking in the fabulous sea views and spectacular sunsets. Looking for good nightlife? This is also the place to be with the 'Bamboos' bar, an athmospheric beachfront establishment serving cocktails late into the night on it's open air terrace. Next door, one of the most popular nightclubs in the region: 'Les Chandelles' has everyone dancing until the very early hours of the morning. You may however prefer something even less developed; luckily there are a multitude of stunning wild beaches and untouched islands easily accessible in the area that are sure to take your breath away! Trebeurden has an impressive weekly market which takes up the whole of the town centre during the summer months. It has a wide variety of local Bretonne specialities and handmade crafts, and is literally on your doorstep. Alternatively, the bigger weekly market of Tregastel, less than 15 mins away, could also keep you busy for most of a morning with its huge array of tantalising stalls. The village has a good selection of restaurants ranging from cheap and cheerful ' creperies' and pizzerias to gourmet eateries serving local seafood specialities and romantic restaurants in 5 star hotels. If you want to be active during your stay, tennis, paragliding, sailing, scuba diving, and windsurfing ( to mention a few) are all activities open to the public in Trebeurden, with clubs very close to the property. There are also many hiking and biking trails nearby. Electric bikes can be rented for the day at a very low cost from the local tourist office. For children, there is a reputable sailing school a few minutes away with summer camps available, as well a beach kids club everyday during the high season. A small playground in the town centre has weekly children's animations organised here during the summer months. A fun merry go round right next to the beach also keeps the little ones happy! To everyone's delight, practically every week in July and August sees a new circus taking up residence on the edge of town. Further afield, the ' Village Gaulois', a themed attraction park, is very popular with families and only a short drive away. There is also the 'Vivons Perchés' forest centre, where adults and kids as young as 3 can have fun walking on tree canopies high above the ground and flying down ziplines. On a rainy day there is a great seawater swimming pool to visit in Tregastel (15 mins away by car) and a good aquarium next door to finish off the day. The historic and picturesque town of Lannion with its old style Breton buildings and quaint paved streets makes for another interesting day trip and is only 15 mins away by car. Perros Guirrec, a seaside town oozing old world charm with a lovely promenade and a huge beach will also be an option if you want a change of scene. It is less than a half hour away and it offers many luxury spas, shops and restaurants. It also has a cinema often showing films in their original language. There are many, many more things to discover in the region but too little space to write about it all here. Your hosts will endeavour to provide you with as much touristic info as possible upon your arrival and during your stay if needed.
