Well placed for exploring the area, this bright, welcoming cottage is within easy reach of many sandy beaches and lots of family friendly tourist attractions. On the ground floor the open plan living/kitchen/diner has a lofty full height ceiling and smart wooden floors. Sitting above, reached via a striking wooden staircase, is the first floor mezzanine. Here you'll find twin beds tucked neatly into the eaves. Rougemont castle's gatehouse and tower still stand, surrounded by gardens. Within a 15 minute drive of the city, there are beaches at Sidmouth and Exmouth, and the Jurassic Coast, all provide ample opportunities for relaxation, sport and exploration. What a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful surroundings, and a cosy, welcoming cottage. Dave and Sharon are fabulous hosts, and we lacked for nothing. Will recommend to anyone wishing to stay there.
