The Salmon Quays self-catering accommodation is a prime holiday rental situated in Ballina, County Mayo. More than a cottage, the Salmon Quays is a home from home. It has three comfortable leather sofas in the front room, a large kitchen and dining room, and downstairs toilet. The house can sleep up to eight people in its four bedrooms, which include two double rooms and two twin rooms. The master bedroom is ensuite, and a children’s travel cot is available for use. A high chair is kept downstairs. Also, the patio doors open to a small but enclosed garden with furniture and a shed for storing fishing tackle. Good value in a great location.

A spacious, well equipped house in an excellent location.We had eight adults in our group and it suited us perfectly .The price was very competitive so all in all we would stay here again.

Long weekend

Stayed here for a long weekend with the family. Beautiful house in great location. The property was very clean and had everything you could wish for away from home. We could not fault anything and hope to return very soon.

About the neighbourhood

Downhill hotel is a short walk along side of the river brusna. Enniscrone is a sandy beach five miles down the quay road you can drive through it on the way to sligo.Approx 1 hours drive. The beautiful quay village, with its multicolour cottages, is a short walk away where you will find crockets bar, restaurant and nightclub. Advanced booking is advised for restaurant but not for bar meals. Murphy's bar , resturant and longnecks nightclub is the first pub you pass walking into ballina. Belleck castle is outside town on the opposite side of the moy to riverside estate. Westport , knock and castlebar are approx 1 hours drive away.
