Whether it's for a romantic break for two or a family gateaway, Drumbarron Cottage offers the perfect retreat to relax and unwind. The Cottage which has been lovingly restored, is a two storey property in the Heritage town of Ardara in Co Donegal. The property is situated along the Wild Atlantic Way coastal drive. Although it is just on the outskirts of the town, (town centre less than 5 mins walk) you will feel like you are in the countryside as you enjoy the mountain views from the house. We’ve just returned from a week long stay in beautiful Drumbarron Cottage in Ardara . What a wonderful holiday home! We arrived to a beautifully set table for tea/coffee and fresh apple tart! The house is so clean , comfortable, equipped with all necessary appliances and lots of nice homely features throughout the house . Ardara is lovely town to base in for exploring beautiful Donegal and The Wild Atlantic Way . Highly recommend visiting Drumbarron Cottage.

Unfortunately we never got to meet Sonia as we arrived late. But if we return hopefully we will, to thank her for the lovely apple pie. We did not have brilliant weather but that did not stop us have a magical time with such friendly people, and such a wonderful house very loved and very cosy with lots of room everything we need was there and fantastic views from the windows. We would recommend Drumbarron to anyone who is looking for somewhere in Ardara and the village has lots to do

We were based here while at the Ardara Folk Festival and we were delighted with our accommodation. Very comfortable with everything you could need and only a few minutes walk from all the pubs and venues. Throughout the booking process, the owner, Sonia, was very helpful and patient. Ten out of ten !

I have stayed at the beautiful Drumbarron Cottage a few times with friends(apologies that this is my first review). The house is tastefully restored as well as being cosy & very comfortable, it had everything we required for our stay, all rooms were presented beautifully and the house is immaculate. Sonia the host is professional, friendly and very welcoming, she made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The house is in a great location, it is within walking distance of the town, we enjoyed the pubs at night with their live music and friendly punters. I would highly recommend Drumbarron Cottage and can easily give it 5 stars, perfect for a family, friends or couples getaway in the heart of beautiful Donegal, I look forward to my next visit.

Stayed here recently on a girly night away and had a wonderful warm welcome at Drumbarron Cottage. Cosy and homely atmosphere in this beautifully restored cottage within a 2 minute walk of Ardara Town. Would recommend this cottage to a family or friends getaway and Ardara has lovely friendly pubs with a warm welcome also. Fully recommend this Cottage to anyone staying in or around Ardara. Cottage itself was immaculately presented. 5 Stars..

The cottage is absolutely beautiful, decor is gorgeous and in keeping with the country feel to it. The kitchen is well equipt with everything you could want which we loved as we cooked for a couple of the nights we were there. I had my 1 year old with and the house was perfect for babies too although we did bring our own cot and high chair. The bedrooms are very spacious and the beds are super comfy! This is in a great location as walking in to the town will only take you 5 minutes, essential if you are in Ardara to enjoy the night life!! A fab home in a beautiful town, highly recommend it!! Thank you Sonia for having us!
