From the village you can take the most beautiful walks, cycle between the lavender fields and visit one beautiful village after another such as Vachères and Simiane-la-Rotonde. Here there are no hordes of tourists but, just like in Viens, simply peace and originality! At the large Provençal Sunday market in Reillanne you get the best regional fruit and vegetables and you should go to Banon for the traditional goat cheese in chestnut leaves. You shouldn't miss a chance visit to Apt with the Cathedral Saint-Anne. Here you can also enjoy shopping in the Provençal boutiques or have lunch in one of the many restaurants. Near Apt there also is a amusement park with a lake which offers water sports like sailing and surfing. Actually there is much too much to do in this area for just 1 vacation!.
