This was my first time in the beautiful Isla Mujeres, and our stay was absolutely incredible. We were lucky enough to go down with some dear friends who have stayed at Casa vista alegre del sur, so they knew all the beautiful places to go and and how to experience the island. We loved Hank!! He was so easy to work with and literally went above and beyond to make our stay perfect in every way. Sofia cooked an amazing meal, and her cheesecake was the best we'd ever tasted. We cant wait to come back again and enjoy the breathtaking view!

We loved renting this home! Hank was so helpful from the beginning with arranging transportation, baby equipment, and coordination with local chefs! He ensured we had everything we needed. Upon arrival he arranged tours, reservations and gave us suggestions for some of the best spots on the island. The house is well equipped, clean, easy to use and beautiful situated on the island for great walks and access to so many great places to see. We loved this trip so much, our kids gave it a 10 out of 10 for a vacation too!

I recently spent my 40th birthday in Isla Mujeres with 8 of my friends. This house was one of the top highlights of the entire trip. We were blown away by how beautiful the home is, and with the service provided by Hank, who took care of anything we needed. Hank made our trip extra special and was so awesome to work with. I can’t recommend this house enough - each room was unique, the pool is amazing, and it was spotlessly cleaned every single day. We also had Chef Sofia make us dinner one night which was a total treat. We are already planning our return!!

We searched high and low for a property that could accommodate our group's needs, and landed here. Everything was absolutely fantastic. Hank (property manager, and concierge extraordinaire) was with us every step of the way. We hired Sofia for a special birthday dinner, and she knocked it out of the park! Everything was absolutely delicious. The house was gorgeous, and we loved that everyone had their own private suites to retreat to. We really felt at home, and loved exploring the island. There are a lot beautiful houses and places to stay, but Hank and his team really made this place special. We felt so welcomed, and he was just a text away if we ever had questions or needed help. We cannot wait to return!!

Dream property in a a dream location. Even better is the host ‘Hank’ ! He made the process of getting to the island and scheduling of events very easy. High recommend the property and host.

A gorgeous home with lots of room for a large party. My husband and I stayed here with four other couples and it was so nice that we all had private rooms to retreat to for quiet time or naps. There is plenty of live spaces to lounge and hang out! We felt like we never had to leave, but it was an easy drive to either side of the island when we did venture out.

This is my 3rd time staying at Casa Vista Alegre del Sur. The first two times were with girlfriends. This time was to show our husbands why we kept coming back to this fabulous home. First of all, of course, is the view. It's obviously breathtaking. You can't beat it. Second is the layout of the rooms. Even though you are in the same home, the rooms are spread out to give you privacy if necessary, and of course they are all beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and ensuite bath. Third is the pool - heated!! And perfect for lounging or just appreciating the view. Fourth is the beautiful decore and well-designed kitchen, which has been updated since my last visit with new hand-made cabinet doors and an incredible round wood tabletop hand-made by our incredible concierge Hank, who is so very talented with wood, but also such a perfect host for us. If you want a vacation that allows you to relax and let someone else handle the details - Hank is the answer. From arrival to restaurant recommendations, golf cart rental, grocery shopping, and even scheduling covid tests in-house, Hank provides it all, as if he is helping friends, rather than guests he just met. But we could not have experienced all the fabulousness on this trip without Teresita. She kept the house spotless, from top to bottom, every day. She is a gem. Our husbands were quite impressed with the whole experience and I’m certain we’ll be back!

To start, this property is absolutely gorgeous. The pictures don’t even fully show just how breathtaking the views are. Everything in the home far exceeded our expectations. Yet that’s not even the best part. The best part is the Concierge, Hank, a wonderful man whom we will all be ever so grateful to have met. Our group was made up of 3 families. Prior to our arrival Hank set up all of our transportation and went grocery shopping for us which was so helpful. He met us at the Ferry upon arrival, helped us with our luggage, and went over all of the details about the house. He even brought us some of his wife’s homemade salsa, guacamole, and veggie dip, all of which was absolutely delicious. While our trip started out being a dream vacation, unfortunately one of the men in our group suffered a heart attack on our 4th day there. Hank went above and beyond arranging taxi’s for his wife who had to travel back and forth from the island to the hospital in Cancun, arranging to have an attorney draft up a letter to authorize the remaining adults to bring their children back to the US with us while she is still staying in Mexico with her husband, helping her find a safe hotel in Cancun, suggesting places she can go while she’s not with her husband (they only allow 3 visits per day), giving her all the hugs she needed, and continuing to check in on us all after we departed and while she’s still there. This man is one of a kind and we are so grateful for him. I cannot imagine how much harder this would have been if we hadn’t had his help. If you are looking for a place to stay on the island, this is the one. As an vacation rental host myself back in the states, I will tell you that you truly will not find a better place or be treated with more genuine care and kindness than you will be here/with Hank.

Hank the concierge was attentive and helpful which was great. The house and the area are very nice. We regularly stay on the island and love the atmosphere. However, there were many complications this time. Even though we arrived later than scheduled the house was not ready so we had to wait longer before arriving. Day 2 the air conditioning ran out of Freon. Day 3 No running water which was solved by using the pool water. Day 7 Again no running water so no showers, no toilets. Again using the pool water was the solution. Privacy is an issue, as the staff enter the house unannounced, even after explicitly being asked to give privacy. It may have been just a run of bad luck, but multiple incidents made for a less enjoyable week.
