Can’t say enough good things about our stay. From start to finish everything was first class. Hank the concierge was so helpful and all of the staff were there to make our visit perfect. We will be back!!!!

This gem of a property is an absolute oasis, only 1.5 hours from Miami. Aside from the home itself, which is breathtaking, the staff, led by Hank, absolutely care about the client experience. Hank's communication from start to finish took all of the care and concern about moving our 9 person party out of the equation. From taxi service, to fulfilling our grocery list, to coordinating in-home covid tests, Hank does it all. Not to mention Chef Sofia, who was amazing. We were able to unplug and recharge, and do it with one of the most amazing views we have ever had. Side note - Hank can help you hire a very reasonable photographer, and it makes all the difference in the world to take some very memorable photos of your group. Thank you Hank and Team, we will most definitely be back (if we can find an open night!!!).

This property and the concierge Hank are both spectacular. Myself, my husband, both of my daughters and their husbands and my niece had a wonderful tome. 5 star experience all around.

We’ve traveled to many islands and love to stay on the ocean! The team that keeps the house does an amazing job! Our concierge (Hank) went over and beyond to make sure our stay was anything short of amazing. Btw you have to book at least one night of a private dinner with Chef Sofia. Her and her crew (her family) are amazing cooks and cooked us authentic meals. The house itself was perfect for our two families and very comfortable. Loved the huge back porch and pool! This house is very well kept and won’t disappoint you. The only drawback is it’s not in the beach which is the case for the majority of the island. Rent a golf cart and have fun zipping around to all the great beaches and restaurants on the island! We had a great stay!

We absolutely loved everything about casa vaya vida. The home is nicer then even the pictures can show. It was very clean. Service like a 5 star resort, Hank is great, views are wonderful, we can’t say enough! We will for sure be back, thanks for having us!

I couldn’t pick just one adjective to summarize the house for our stay, so I just chose the top four. The house ,if even possible is nicer than the photos. With everything you need for a stay at luxury rental plus many Thoughtful added touches throughout. Hank and his team made everything from start to finish as seamless as possible . very kind , responsive and helpful! Traveling during Covid has been tricky and unpredictable , this stay was neither of those. Just amazing!

Beautiful home, gracious hosts, if I ever return to the island I would hope to find it available again.

To sum up, beautiful house, great location, poor property management. Monica is noted as both providing concierge service and Property Manager. We ordered a large golf cart through her but received a small cart that we exchanged ourselves. We paid extra for "arrival package." Monica never greeted us. Rather, sent someone else who was short with us, showed up in swimwear saying she had to leave beach to show us the house, seemed annoyed she was there! Monica never communicated how we pay for pre-ordered groceries even though we reached out several times, nor did she tell us what form of payment was accepted. A woman arrived at house within an hour of check in wanting pesos for groceries. Good thing we had enough! The house code to enter front door provided through VRBO was wrong. The dipping pool had blue paint all along the edge of pool that was coming off on our back and legs. We notified Monica, the house manager on day 1 of 7 day trip. She informed us there was "no fresh paint, in fact the pool edge is natural cement." She asked for a pic, which we provided. She then said, "sorry for that." The day before checkout, we received a message from Monica stating cleaning service was at house and asking why we were not packed up as check out was 11:00. We informed we were scheduled to check out the next day. We have rented on island before, never had one problem. Upon return, we messaged property owner privately to express concerns but to our dismay, she was very dismissive. We were told the concierge service is a separate provider and the house is self-catering. We assumed (wrongly) that Monica would have informed the owner about paint, etc. but she did not. Again, it's a lovely home, just managed poorly. After several email exchanges, owner did end up saying she would address concerns. But for our experience with property management, would have rated higher.

Very comfortable with beautiful views. We enjoyed our stay very much. My favorite day of our trip was when the boys went fishing all day and I stayed at the house reading and relaxing by the pool. The home was so close to the sites we wanted to show the kids on the south end. We all enjoyed it very much.
