Perfect for a family holiday, this upside-down house is close to Crealy Adventure Park, coastal resorts, Haldon Forest and Dartmoor. Hot tub and WiFi included. Situated in a quiet location in the Teign Valley, close to Dartmoor National Park, is this spacious, detached, upside-down house. With amazing views from the balcony off the living room, you can sometimes see deer grazing on the hillside. The property has been decorated and furnished to a very good standard, with oak worktops in the new kitchen, an enclosed garden with hot tub and a garden shed with a children’s pool table. There are so many things to see and do in this part of Devon, including Canonteign Falls, which is only 2 miles from Middle Wicket, many National Trust properties and Crealy Adventure park in Exeter. If you fancy a flutter at the races, both Exeter and Newton Abbot racecourses are close by, or take a trip to Plymouth to visit the National Marine Aquarium, Plymouth Hoe and the Barbican. The city of Exeter offers a cathedral, canalside walks and plenty of shopping. Take a walk on one of the many tours that Dartmoor has to offer, or try letterboxing on the moor, a fun way to spend a few hours. This is a great house for families, friends or couples to get together and enjoy the many things to see and do in this wonderful part of Devon. Beach 10 miles. Beautiful cottage
a beautiful cottage very well equipped - perfect for families with young children and with dogs. Amazing hot tub and the scones on arrival were a lovely touch. Will return for sure.

Wonderful location and beautiful house.
We had a fantastic stay at Middle Wicket so beautiful and peaceful. Gorgeous pub five minutes away called The Cridford Inn lovely food and very friendly owners. The hot tub was great and the scones on arrival was huge and so gorgeous.

A great house in a lovely location
I stayed here with 3 friends and we found Middle Wicket to be ideal for us. There was plenty of space for all four of us. The house has all that you would expect and more. The hot tub is a great place to unwind after a day of exploring the local area. There is also a well equipped games room with board games and a wii. Sarah was a great host and gave us detailed directions to get to the house which is a bit off the beaten track. It was an ideal location to visit Exeter, Dartmoor and the Devon coast. We very much enjoyed visiting Totnes and Dartmouth.

Beautiful location
A beautiful country location and yet only a short drive to stunning Dartmoor and the beaches at Teignmouth and Dawlish. Good spacious and clean property with the added bonus of the hot tub.

Perfect Location
Excellent house wonderful location could fault either would stay again in fact planing to come back next year. House was clean and tidy plenty of room for all of us. Quiet, restful stress free.

Relaxing and tranquil location
Although it only took us approx 10 mins from the A38, this holiday home was set in a lovely rural village with brilliant views over the fields and trees from the lounge and kitchen. Large natural garden with decking area and hot tub which we enjoyed. We visited many places including Teignmouth beach and Haytor Rocks on Dartmoor which were both only about 40 mins away. We'll definitely be back to visit again.

Trusham is small village in the scenic Teign Valley in South Devon. Just half a mile away is Dartmoor National Park which is a hikers paradise with stunning Tors and rugged countryside. The Haldon Forest Park is only 2 miles from Trusham where you can enjoy activities such as Go Ape Tree Top Adventure, off road cycle trails, horse riding, Segway Tours and much more set in 3500 acres of woodland. In the centre of the village, 5 minutes walk from Middle Wicket, is the local pub called the Cridford Inn. This 1000 year old pub is well known for its locally sourced menu and traditional ales.
Getting around
Trusham is only 3 miles from main A38 dual carriageway and 8 miles from Exeter where there is a main line train station into Newton Abbot and an Airport. in Exeter. You will need a car to get around and to get the shops, Chudleigh is the closest. Directly from the village there are a variety of country walks. The Teign Valley is popular with cyclists.
