Inner-city apartment living doesn't get better than this!! With a 5-10 min walk you can see Sydney's beautiful Harbour Bridge and Opera House at Circular Quay, Darling Harbour, or Chinatown. If you want to explore a little further you can catch a bus/train from Town Hall (Sydney's public transport hub) which is only a 3-5min walk away! This is my home and I am listing it whilst temporarily living with a friend :)! So, no large parties allowed and please respect my neighbours!...Inner-city apartment living doesn't get better than this!! About the neighbourhood
My apartment is right in the middle of the CBD (Central Business District). It is a 5-10min walk to every main attraction in Sydney, such as the Harbour Bridge, Opera House, Darling Harbour, Hyde Park, Chinatown etc. If you're here for work, odds are your company is based less than 10mins walk away.
Getting around
- Walking: if you're sightseeing in the city you're best off walking everywhere :) - Trains and Buses: Town Hall station is a 5-min walk away and is a transport hub, so you should be able to get pretty much everywhere from there. You will need an Opal card which you can get all over the city at newsagents, 7/11 etc. - Ferry: Most likely you'll want to get a ferry from Circular Quay (10min walk) but there is also a ferry at Darling Harbour (5min walk) - Cycling: there are 2x sharebike startups in Sydney, Reddybike and oBike. they are both very similar and are good for 15-30min trips. - Uber/taxi: this is quite expensive, but if you have 3-4 people it can actually be cheaper for certain trips, eg, getting to the beaches.
