Delamain Holiday House and B&B is located at the west of Christchurch suburb Yaldhurst. It's a new developed morden house with quiet neighborhood. Very close to the airport. This suburb is famous for the European designed landscaping and European style building . With beautiful stream around by, you will enjoy a public tennis court, basketball play ground, also a playful children's playground equipped with a big flying fox .It is adjacent to few farms and a lot of opportunity to see cows and sheep some time.

Best avoided

We booked the en suite room for 4 nights through Expedia 5 months before our visit and sent a confirmation message 1 month before our visit. On arrival we were told that we could have that room for our first and last nights but that we would have to move into another room using the shared bathroom for the middle 2 nights. They blamed Expedia! We refused their suggestion, stayed 1 night and moved elsewhere for the other 3 nights. It is NOT a guest house. It is an ordinary residential property used for multiple occupation. It is not particularly clean and there was no tea/coffee etc provided.
