Incredibly disappointed in this hire company. We had issues with the shower that would not drain at all leaving all water in shower bowl, lots of hair and debris floating up from the plug outlet.
Issues with setting the room and water temperatures as the controller was faulty.
Problems with the Fridge failing to stay on during the evening. This turned out to be a faulty leisure battery that was not holding a charge. We had to change this battery to resolve the fridge problem.
There was also a problem with a water pressure regulator which we had to adjust.
I will say that our contact with Theresa on the phone to help with technical issues was very good - she proved very helpful.
The bed linen supplied was disgraceful, beyond description
Our crockery was plastic plates, no problem there but the top layer of the plastic was sloughing off. The plastic tumblers & wine glasses were very scratched from use and should have been replaced.
Broken chair arm, laminate on the dining table top was lifting off both top & bottom, I trapped my hand on lifting this table.
We have caravaned in the UK for over 35 years so we are not mere novices. So disapointed.
A major issue with the service is contactless pick-up. What this means is there is no one available to discuss any issues
The caravan had a lovely layout , we could have had a great holiday.

Comfortable
Hired the 5 berth Phoenix Bailey and was a breeze to operate. Fitted 3 kids and 2 adults comfortably. Double bed is generous in size. Caravan equipped with everything you need. Highly recommend.

Great way to travel
All the fun or camping without any of the stress! Everything that you need is on board these caravans, which are in great condition.

Perfect, new and easy to tow
The caravan was everything we had hoped for, new, easy to tow and had all amenities we required for our 7 weeks hire.
We travelled the southern part of the South Island and it was a dream to use.
Very easy to tow and manovure when needed.
The pick up and drop off process was very easy to understand with any assistance required available from the NZ4U2U team throughout our hireage.
I would recommend this type of hireage to anyone looking for a caravan type holiday.

The worst experience ever
We booked the 2 bedroom caravan in August to go on a trip to NY.
The worst customer service, first we were told that the microwave is not working and if we want can cancel the caravan (interested in how the customer service thought we would have urs trip going ahead with no caravan?)
After picking up the caravan everything looks ok till we arrive at the first campsite, the water bottle was leaking, the gas bottle had a faulty valve and we couldn't use any electricity or hot water (customers service slowly responded by text messages even not responding to phone calls, that we probably not connecting its correctly and if they will send technician but it's can take up to one day as he coming from Christchurch )
But the worst part was when my daughter was locked in the toilet and she couldn't open the door as the handle was broken and she was terrified screaming, the customer service was saying that is not possible as they are checking the caravans before every trip.
Just not RECOMMENDED!!!

Just Perfect
We hired the caravan for a weekend away and it was perfect for our needs.
It was a smaller caravan but did have plenty of room just for a few days.
The range was easy to use and so was the rest of the applainces.
We just loved the shower and found the water did stay hot for some time.
One thing though we did find tiresum was the making and unmaking of the bed but hay just for a few days so it was fine.
Can't wait ti hire another caravan in future

NZ4U2U Caravan Hire
I thoroughly recommend NZ4U2U for your caravan holiday.
The van was tastefully supplied with everything needed for an enjoyable trip.
Being allowed to bring two dogs was wonderful, it meant not having to leave them behind, and they enjoyed our time on the road.
Communication with Terresa was always easy, and she was always available to answer any questions we had.
Check-in and check-out was well explained and easy to follow.

Amazing caravan
We hired a 5 berth caravan over the past 14 nights with two adults and three young ones, staying at campground around the South Island. We absolutely loved the experience! The caravan had everything we needed, and especially an amazing heater to keep the van cosy 24/7 - a big worry of everyone we mentioned this trip to! We're used to living on yachts, so this wasn't foreign to us, but I'd highly recommend this to anyone considering a large campervan as you have the freedom of dropping the accomodation off and driving just the car around. Bare in mind you need a decent car (Ute/4WD) with the right tow rating, and beware there is a bit of a towing and trailer reversing experience needed.

Lovely Caravan
Very well thought out contactless pickup and drop off. Caravan was modern and tidy and included everything and more than needed. Would certainly use NZ2U4U again.

10 days in a paddock!
Awesome caravan made parking on a farmers paddock for 10 days an enjoyable experience that we'd repeat in a heartbeat!
Clean, modern, everything worked well.
