Short breakaway from work to visit family and friends the bach provided all we required. Need to find plug for kitchen sink I couldn't find it anywhere

Home away from home
After a long drive it was pleasant to book in to a comfortable home across the road from the beach, with shops and resturants up the road we didn't have to travel far, we were able to completely relax for our 2 nights stay.

Peaceful and easy
Be sure to contact the host before you arrive so you can access the property. The TV and internet amenities did not work during our stay. We weren't sure where to park the car. Otherwise, the kitchen, laundry, and bathroom were all in working order, and the rooms were comfortable enough for a good night of rest. We loved how accessible the beach was and would stay again.

A very comfortable and fun house to stay in!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very cool bach. Our boys, 19 and 23, didn't want to leave the house or area, to return to Auckland :) The bach is so comfortable - it was so quiet at night that we all slept solidly ( especially after a huge walk along the beautiful beach to the pier.) The children's park by the pier was just incredible - our nieces were just thrilled - I haven't seen a park like it before. We had everything we needed - ( the linen and towels were the same as we have at home!) and the kitchen was very well-equipped, everything was very clean and the shower was excellent! I had earlier considered booking a motel in Christchurch and I'm so glad that we decided to rent this bach. We had family from Christchurch come to visit us ( to do the beach walk and lunch ) and we were able to uber to Addington to see the Phil Collins concert. It was a mini-holiday for us and a special time in a very cool house that we won't forget!

Cute place to stay, very close to the beach.
We enjoyed our stay at Local Tea Rooms. Charming vintage vibes in the house. The beds were comfortable, bedding fresh and nice. Toys and games kept our 6 yo girl occupied. The only suggestion we have is for the owners to provide a plastic tub for washing/rinsing swimwear etc. after the beach, as the bathroom sink is quite small for washing.

Excellent!!
Great place for a travelling group to stay. Close to Beach and restaurants. Great hospitality :)
