Had a wonderful time with the family, the villa is just as the pictures show and the views are great! Rogelio(over sees the property) helped us with all are needs. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely house on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Close to Las Terranas and Playa Coson. Perfect for our family of six. Very clean and comfortable, nice pool and deck with outdoor seating. Highly recommended.

I would give a 5 star review but our villa had some things that are broken and in need of repair. The beauty, however more than made up it. Being able to come back to the Bella Vista after a walk on the beach or a drive into town was such a treat! Total serenity , so quiet after the noise in town and waves pounding on the beach, the place is amazing ! We decided we liked being up on the hill/ mountain better than being right on the beach. The repair man did come to fix the A/C that is in the upper master bedroom however we never needed it as the temperatures, humidity , breezes were just perfect. I even got cold at night! We were able to hear the ocean from our bed at times due to the ocean being so rough. For beach lovers ; you can walk for hours in one directions the beach goes on and on. You don't have to worry about getting thirsty as there are fellows selling fresh from the trees coconut , and pineapple drinks right on the beach during certain times of the year, and a lot of beach bars/ restaurants/ resorts along the beach to keep you happy! If you plan to drive into Las Terrenas be prepared, the drivers are crazy and it is an experience! We loved going into town and being able to purchase fresh fruit and eggs directly from the farm. I much preferred to purchase from the locals than at the sterile supermarket which has a ton of variety if you are looking for something specific. Also be prepared to brush up on Spanish . To our surprise since tourism is the main economy in the DO almost no one even knew a word in English. Even at the wonderful Restaurants many being owned and run by the French and Italians they didn't speak a word of English. It worked out fine for us as my husband did take Spanish in High School, and most of the time they would write down the price in Pesos on paper or show us on the calculator. We also found the best cigar shop in downtown Las Terrenas where they were actually hand rolling the cigars in the shop , you can purchase a GREAT cigar for $3-5 US! Just a few suggestions to the owners who are WONDERFUL to work with and correspond quickly and are very helpful are: Have the help ( they speak no English) leave basic condiments in the house like salt, pepper various spices , cooking oil etc. plastic bags for garbage, and maybe some more comfortable seating / furniture inside the villa.

It is just as the pictures show. We are pretty fit but wouldn't attempt the walk to the beach. The location is great but a car and a confident driver is a must to enjoy this properly. If you run out of hot water notify the gate keeper he just needs to get gas. Electricity went out for one day which was a bummer.

Let me start with with all the positives. The home is conveniently located about 10 minutes drive yo Las Terrenas where anything you need is available,. The home is private and beautifulle furnished. The view of the ocean from the porch overlooking the infinity pool is amazing. The kitchen is well supplied with dishes, appliances. There was a quarter full 5 gallon water dispenser which gave us a chance to shop for more water which in not potable at the house. Just FYI - The road up to the home is very steep our rental car worked hard to make it up and we needed to use low gear. Our experience was disappointing by the fact that we booked a Wednesday to Wednesday. Our reservation was accepted and our credit card was charged. Then about a week or so before our arrival we were contacted and told there was a maintenance issue and the house would not be ready until Saturday and we were booked into a hotel not far from the house for 3 nights. While the owner did offer for us to stay a few days longer we already had our airline tickets and our schedule did not allow us to stay longer. The house did not even have a salt and pepper shaker so we had to shop for 4 days. As a result we left a lot of food behind. The caretaker and his wife were wonderful and were available if you needed them. I would definitely return send hopefully for the entire stay!

It was the 3rd time in Las Terrenas and in this case, The house far exceeded expectations. It is hands down the best view and location on the area! Upon arrival at this Villa, our breath was taken away at the beautiful view! The villa is a few meters of a beautiful beach and the house it's very clean and comfortable. There is everything you need to cook and the kitchen is plenty of dishes, glasses and cookware. The property itself is wonderful - well appointed with great appliances, furniture, a new laundry machine, towels, beach towels. The Wi.Fi. worked perfectly all the time. The three separate rooms allow for a balance of privacy and together time if you are traveling with friends and family. The infinity pool was so relaxing and you just can't beat the views. The house is on a hill, and we found it to be better and more convenient than other locations because of the breezes and elevation.. The villa is very clean, well decorated, updated and we felt right at home. The owners here have really thought of everything. Es ist die lange Anreise aus Deutschland wert! Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an wohl gefühlt. Das Haus hat alles, was man braucht. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, und ich hatte beim kochen noch nie in meinem Leben eine schönere Aussicht! Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und haben alle ein eigenes Bad. Die Terasse ist sehr einladend und man hat an manchen Tagen gar keine Lust, das Anwesen zu verlassen, weil einfach alles so schön ist. Natürlich gibt es krabbelnde Viecher, die sehr neugierig sind. Man darf absolut kein Essen rum liegen lassen. Und auch CremeTuben sind bei den Ameisen sehr beliebt. Aber so ist das nun mal in der Karibik! Die unterhalb des Hauses gelegene Playa Coson ist der absolute Wahnsinn! Unter der Woche haben wir bei langen Spaziergängen am Strand so gut wie nie andere Menschen gesehen. Ich habe Stunden mit meinen Mädchen in dem flach abfallenden Wasser verbracht. Und wir haben nicht eine Qualle gesehen. Es gibt zahlreiche Unternehmungen, die man in Las Terrenas buchen kann. Ich möchte allerdings dringend von einem Ritt zum Wasserfall El Limon abraten. Erstens ist das übelste Tierquälerei und zweitens Massenabfertigung! Der Wasserfall ist auch nicht besonders spektakulär! Wally und ihr Mann hatten uns im Vorfeld viele gute Tips und Ratschläge gegeben, und waren auch während unseres vierwöchigen Aufenthalts stets erreichbar, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Roghelio und seine Frau Reina waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, und wir konnten uns trotz unseres nicht vorhandenen Spanischs recht gut verständigen. Einziges kleines Manko ist, dass es keine Waschmaschine im Haus gibt. Man kann seine Wäsche wohl Reina zum waschen geben, aber das wollte ich nicht. Also habe ich mit der Hand gewaschen, was mich nicht besonders gestört hat. Nur die Handtücher und Bettwäsche hat sie für uns netterweise gewaschen. Alles in allem war das ein ganz wunderschöner Urlaub und wir werden bestimmt nochmal hinfahren und in diesem Haus die Seele baumeln lassen!

I absolutely loved my stay at this home. The home is beautiful and a short distance from the ocean. The aspect of this location that I loved the most was the fact that I was secluded and away from it all. There was no TV, no one could call me and the internet connection was okay but it wasn't good enough to stream videos. The house was clean when we arrived and the view from the back porch was breathtaking. My son who is 21 years old and I stayed there and we both agreed that it was the best vacation we had ever taken. It was heartbreaking to have to leave and I intend to go back as often as I can.

The house is located in a prime location right next to Playa Coson; 3 min walk and easy access to the most pristine beach in the world. Wally was very helpful on the phone/email and the apartment was well prepared/cleaned and ready for me and my friends' arrival. The house is is well kept, fully furnished and in a very nice area of the island with a beautiful view of the Ocean. Me and my friend had 3 very nice days. It was like living as a king. We had never seen a house like that. Normally pictures cheat a bit and you get dissapointed when you come to see the house, but here everything is like what you expect. If you spend a couple of days here, you will never forget it. Will definitely consider this place again next time.
