The views are amazing, the hosts are kind, and the house is quaint and charming. The weather was unusually cold for March during our visit--lows in the 20s, highs only in the 30s. I suggest booking the house in warm weather as heating the house cost us 100 euros, and we only stayed three nights and kept the house around 60 degrees. Smoking is allowed in the house. Walking opportunities nearby and about a thirty minute drive from national parks.

We stayed here for almost three weeks. The setting is stunning, with beautiful meadows, trees and mountains. It is incredibly quiet and peaceful-lovely to sit outside for breakfast with lizards scuttling around! The house itself looks big but is in fact quite compact, with a combined kitchen/dining/living area downstairs, and three bedrooms and a small bathroom upstairs. It is not possible to either drink the water, or to use it for cooking, although it can be used for washing up. Therefore there was a large container of fresh water with a tap which could be refilled from a number of similar containers in the kitchen. The kitchen is kitted out for simple meals, and there is a wood barbecue outside which is great fun.The owners were very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend having some basic Italian otherwise I suspect that communication would be extremely difficult, and , with no internet, Google translate is not an option! In common with many such setups, be prepared to pay for gas used for heating-we ran up about 100 eu during our stay, but we don't tend to go to bed early. It definitely would have been cheaper to light the fire!

Un bel casaletto in pietra, ristrutturato, sul colmo di una collina circondato da boschi, è ideale per un soggiorno tranquillo, all'insegna del relax o di passeggiate a piedi o in mountainbike. Per i più dinamici, amanti della montagna, la struttura si può considerare relativamente vicina alle Mainarde, al Matese e al Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo. Il nostro soggiorno durante le festività pasquali è stato funestato da vento e pioggia... ma al calduccio, dinanzi al fuoco del camino e in compagnia di amici e buon cibo abbiamo comunque recuperatoe trascorso un bel WE! Torneremo con il bel tempo...

Fantastica villa in pietra, immersa in un prato verde e circondata da boschi. incantevole per amanti della natura e del relax. consigliata vivamente. Casa vacanza che merita tantissimo. Se torno in Molise, alloggerò di novo lì......
