Our pretty hillside home has the most amazing mountainous views from every window , we are just 2 km from lake Bled, and are on route to the famous spectacular Vintgar Gorge which is just a short walk away , the village of Zasip has everything you need ,a well stocked supermarket , a friendly pub / restaurant with excellent local food , and a pizzeria cafe just 5 mins walk up the hill from our house . Everything is with in 5 mins walk from the house . We have a pretty garden with stream and pond , as well as a large open patio and an enclosed terrace , 2 balconies , with awnings , and a large enclosed terrace all with beautiful views . The house to completely detached and you have the whole house garden and terraces for your use . Very Well situated in the middle of the mountains. Beautiful view ! Amazing house with a lot of différent terrasses for thé moment of the day! Arrival And departure with thé key locker is perfect. House on the walk to vintgar ! No need of car House between 2 restaurants Happy to sélect it

Comfortable bed. Stunning views. Great place to stay.
Wonderful location .5 minutes by car from Bled. Lovely 35 minute walk to Bled.The house couldn't be better it has everything, Lots of places to visit and a balcony for the end of the day.

A great place for a family holiday
This cottage is a beautiful traditional styled home perched high above Zasip with views across to Bled Castle, the Alps and the farmland and villages around Lake Bled. We celebrated our honeymoon in Slovenia 25 years ago, and thought it was time to show our sons the sights that had captivated us then. The cottage was a perfect base for touring, being only 15 minutes from the main motorway which was ideal for our excursions to Austria, Slovenia and Croatia - all within a couple of hours. There are also a range of beautiful walks nearby - we loved the Vintgar Gorge walk particularly. Down in the village there's a wee pub that serves good beer and decent food; and a grocery shop that stocks basic essentials. Elaine, the owner, was very contactable, and was available by email to offer advice on things to do and see. We'd certainly consider staying again.

It is so nice to hear David and family enjoyed there stay at our Cottage , it was a pleasure to have them stay here particularly for there 25 th anniversary , I think the goats are missing Peter already .

Lovely house, fantastic location and nice people
We had a fantastic week in the cottage with our teenage boys. It's a lovely house in a stunning location. All our basic requirements were satisfied in Zasip and Bled is a pleasant 20 minute walk away. The lake is fantastic forsun bathing, swimming, paddle boarding, canoeing etc. and there's lots to do elsewhere in the Julian Alps. Loads of lovely places to eat but we particularly enjoyed the Kremnista - a Bled speciality! Elaine was extremely helpful and welcoming, making the stay a real pleasure and it was lovely to meet her and Tony at the end of our stay. We would definitely like to come back one day.

I am so pleased Dan and family had a great time at our Cottage , and enjoyed the use of the balconies , the weather was so hot for most of the two weeks they spent here so it is always nice to eat out side , overlooking the village and mountains , I hope they will return one day . Fabulous house with amazing views
Really enjoyed our stay in Zasip. House had everything we needed with amazing views from the balconies. Did some great walks in the Triglav National Park and Julian Alps. House quite close to motorway so nowhere too far away. Ljubljana definitely worth a visit. We took the train there from Lesce-Bled station only a few km from the house. Will hopefully come back one day

Perfect week away - amazing property, location, and neighbours too!
Absolutely perfect for a young family (or couple) get away! The village is just a five minute downhill cycle from the beautiful Lake Bled and there are endless fun activities to spend the day on nearby. The highlight though is the neighbours who immediately welcomed us, offered loads of time and advice to us and were always around and amazingly friendly! The house itself was wonderfully maintained - everything was in perfect working order, and the terrace, balcony and garden were just perfect in the sun! Absolutely no complaints or any suggestions to improve upon! Slovenia itself is also fantastic with again some of the friendliest people we have met. An amazing place for a relaxing getaway or fun-filled adventure holiday. I would thoroughly recommend it to anybody!

About the neighbourhood
There is water rafting just down the road and also from bled . We have an adrenalin park on the Strada in bled and also in Bojan where there is yet another lake much larger than bled.There you can sky dive , and we also have ballooning. The castle in bled has the most amazing views , you can actually see our house from the top , if you look carefully. The village of Zasip is a very pretty village with shop and restaurant ,and Church with lovely walks all around
