We have booked this flat a while before we travelled. The location was stunning, everything was nearby from shopping mall to restaurants. Upon arrival to the flat we were shocked!!!!!!!!! The flat was dirty, dust everywhere and I mean everywhere! There were empty toiletries all over the place: cupboards, bathroom, toilets all empty and left there for no reason!
There was a bra in the cupboard, master bedroom felt like a shed with old cloths on the floor and an old tumble dryer unconnected. The iron board was broken but was left in the flat, there were dead flys all over and when I spoke to the owner she said they had a cleaner work there for 8 hours cleaned “every knock” including the windows. I’m sorry to say and I have sent her photos of the flat how dirty it was to which she replied that the cleaner came highly recommended. There was dump in both bathrooms and rust inside and outside of the bath! There was a strong constant smell of dump in master bedroom. At a certain point one of the air conditioning units stopped working and it took a week to fix it at 35c that’s unreasonable. After a week we had a massive leak coming out from the master bedroom bath, the whole flat was flooded. Called the owner at which she replied to speak to the concierge, how could he have helped?! The owner told me to find a plumber in the morning!!!!!! Why do I need to do it? I’ve asked for compensation as the flat was in a very poor condition and we paid a lot of money and agreed another week rent free but I will never book this flat and you shouldn’t too!
After arguing with the owner who didn’t think he should give us compensation we agreed on one week free but we felt this was not the right attitude!
