The property rental includes the Main Lodge & Guest Cottage (50ft apart), two-story Boat house and Dock, Tennis court, as well as the airplane Hangar (upon reservation) & Beach.  As far as the grounds, guests have access to all 2000 acres of grounds, hills and lakes, trails and the former golf course.  The beach at the Hangar has a lovely gradual decline into the water which is great for young children, and around the boat house dock is waist-high water. It is absolutely a perfect place for gatherings and reunions because there is truly something for everyone! There are easy and harder walks and hikes, mountain biking trails and roads, and one of the most pristine chain of lakes in the Adirondacks, as they are spring fed and very, very clean. You can boat between the 3 lakes through channels filled with wild life; and when you navigate to Blue Mt. Lake you can head over to the Boat Livery where they serve up delicious local ice-cream.  We provide 4 canoes for your use and you can rent additional boats, pontoon boats, kayaks, sailboats, paddle boards etc. from the Blue Mountain Boat Livery that they will deliver to your dock, as well as bikes which the local bike shop will deliver and pickup.  If that all were not enough, the local massage therapist is incredible and she will come to the lodge and treat the whole group like royalty. If you choose Eagle Nest for your gathering, I would be happy to provide you a list of contacts in the area and our house Welcome booklet, as well as to discuss ideas for fun activities that we have done in the past.   Some events we have held ourselves include cowboy cookouts at our own lean-to; Pimm’s Cup intergenerational tennis tournaments in tennis whites; hold a Hoe-down at the airplane hangar and beach with a bonfire, professional dance caller & BBQ, complete with hay bales; 1920’s evening on a pontoon boat; Games night tournament in the speakeasy; Airplane joy rides at the Hangar on lake Utowana; Midnight swims and on and on.  …Of course, there is also just hanging out on the dock and watching the loon go fishing.  Eagle Nest is a classic Great Camp and a truly magical place.  We have only been welcoming families, other than our own, for the past 4 summers, but already we have those families who come every year, making it a family tradition of their own.   We are thrilled that you may come and discover the magic of it for yourselves. I look forward to hearing from you! Lisa Boillot Eagle Nest, Director More

Our extended family has gathered here on several occasions. It is SUCH a large home, guess that is why it's called a "Great Camp", but still very warm and inviting. Being able to take over a place larger than many inns and small hotels is...More
