About the neighbourhood
Seki is a picturesque and quiet village with expansive views of the Mediterranean at the foothills of the majestic Taurus mountains and in the heart of South Turkey. The region around Manavgat is one of the most varied in terms of culture and history. You have the deep blue sea and a rich coastal life, remnants of Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman culture and breathtaking mountain ranges and quiet mountain villages. Seki is surrounded by sprawling pine forests and olive and citrus groves. You can get a taste of local Turkish cuisine and culture in and around Seki. You can take a stroll in the village, have tea with the villagers or take long walks in the magnificent pine forests that surround Seki.
Getting around
We recommend renting a vehicle, as the region is a great place to discover by car. You are advised to arrange your car rental well in advance of your stay, as most rentals will be booked out during the high season. You can also get around by public transportation. There is a bus driving from the village to the main highway and back, once every hour. From there you can find a bus that takes you to Manavgat, Antalya or the beach. It is also possible to get around by bike. We have four bikes available to our guests. Please let us know in advance if you intend to use them. Guests who did not rent a car, we offer to take grocery shopping at the beginning of their stay.
