This beautifully situated apartment built in 2009 is nestled within Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo. The area is known for it's amazing rainforests and home to the highest mountain in S. E. Asia and the largest flowers in the world. Sabah itself, with its unique heritage, cultural richness, distinct variety of seafood provides a perfect haven for local delights. Located about 45 minutes from the airport on it's own amazingly serene shared beach the apartment literally offers a getaway from it all! Onsite shared swimming pool and lovely gardens. At the main resort next door you have a choice of six restaurants. A fabulous class golf course and Borneo Spa, tennis, squash, gym. Karambunai is located about 25-30 KM from the main city, set in a picturesque natural landscape offering remarkable serenity. The property itself is located within a resort known as Nexus Resort Karambunai. The property used to be on a sub-lease to the main resort but is now back in private ownership. If you plan well and it is a short trip it is possible to stock the apartment and simply have a relaxing few days or simply eat in the main resort which is about a 1km stroll down the beach and just have breakfast and lunch at your apartment. Whilst a car isnt essential it is a borderline decision. If you simply want a relaxing few days and have a small family or prefer something larger than a standard suite this works. But if you are there for say a week or two you may feel a little isolated or simply fancy getting out to see some of the wider area. We can recommend local car hire who will assist in helping you find the property etc.

It is possible to take a regular taxi from the airport. The property is about 45 minutes from Kota Kinabalu airport. 35 minutes from central Kota Kinabalu and 25 minutes from One Borneo shopping centre. The neraest shops are 10-15 minutes drive
It may be far simpler to organise renting a car and then use for all local excursions.
