Favourite villa
I recently booked my elderly parents to stay in Tavake villa. The host Teareia could not be more helpful. From his friendly warm welcome at the airport to his daily chats at his cafe which is at the front away from the villa. The cafe has fresh delicious meals and our favourite was the Sashimi. Teareia was very accommodating in all enquiries and needs. We had trouble getting a hire car and mentioned this in passing. Teareia offered his new car at a very comparable rate & immediately we went to pick up his car, no dramas. The villa itself is modern, clean, self contained and has a wonderful sea breeze. At the time it was constant 30+ humid degrees but we did not use the Air Conditioner as the breeze waffles through all windows. The villa is elevated to take advantage of the sea breeze and sea view at your back door. My elderly parents normally require assistance up and down stairs. However to the design of the 8? steps at the back they are wide also a deep step tread, but shallow to climb, minimal effort for my father and his cane. The balcony with the stunning sea view kept my parents mesmerized for hours on end looking into the turquoise lagoon. I highly recommend this villa, for Aitutaki standards this is of a very high standard. Keep up the great work Teareia can't wait to return to paradise. Tavake Villa I can assure is my family's go to villa for future holidays. Ka kite

Conveniently located modern villa with a traditional flavour
Really enjoyed our stay at the Tevake Villa. Tearaia was a friendly and helpful host. The villa is very new and modern but has a traditional flavour which looks great. It has all the basic amenities you'd need and is walking distance to the main centre on the island. Nearby resorts are also definitely worth a visit for a drink and meal. It has cooking facilities, fridge/freezer and the possibility to eat inside our outside watching the sunset. The villa is a good option for couples looking to live a bit more locally and independently.
