I booked the White House to celebrate a family birthday. The house was perfect for a large group, well equipped and in an excellent location. Central to the town and beach, with shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Terry was kind and always on hand to help without being intrusive. I would highly recommend

We very much enjoyed our stay At The White House. The house had everything we needed. Terry was very accommodating and flexible as we got stuck in traffic and arrived later than planned. The House was very clean and had lovely views from some of the bedrooms. All bedrooms were lovely and beds comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. The House is within walking distance to all the shops including Tesco express and Coop for supplies!

We booked this house for three families, totalling 6 adults and 4 children, although it could sleep more. The rooms are all very nicely furnished and decorated and each room has an en-suite (two share a juliet bathroom). There is a lovely sea view from at least 5 of the bedrooms, and the ones on the top floor are outstanding. On the ground floor there is a games room which is great for the kids and a really spacious sitting room too. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining room also overlooks the bay. Big and modern TVs and free wifi also kept the kids happy, as did the pool/table football table and games console. The patio area is quite small but has table, chairs and a BBQ. Loads of parking too although you won't need your car if staying in Lyme Regis. The location was superb, just at the top of the high street, the nearest shop was 2 mins away. You can also divert through the gardens as a more direct route to the cobb, takes less than 10 mins. The hosts were helpful and on hand if we needed them (we didn't). Would highly recommend and we would like to return.

What a splendid place. The house is situated in a great location within walking distance of everything. It was well equipped and we needed nothing more. Great communication from Terry too. I would highly recommend it to groups of friends or a larger family.

Very nice house, clean and well presented. Great location only a few minutes walk from the seafront. Plenty of parking for multiple cars. Would have been 5 star rating but for small issue - clarify the vacation time for departure. We had a text message at 10.00am saying cleaners were arriving at 10.30am. We understood from pre-arrival email that our vacation time was 12pm - was a bit unwelcome just as all sitting down for breakfast!

3 days and 2 nights was a much needed break for friends to get together, Lyme is beautiful , we tried out the local brew house walked to Charmouth in search of fossils and found many other interesting artifices. We went on a fishing boat, no mackrel today and finished up in the sea and an evening meal in Swim on the front. A perfect break Thank you

The White House is in wonderful central location with parking. The house was very well equipped, clean, warm and homely. Beach, shops and restaurants minutes from the front door...the ideal holiday base. We will definitely stay again.

We took our two young kids on a lovely holiday to Lyme and the Whitehouse was the perfect place. It is in the perfect location and such a beautiful view which made our stay so pleasurable. The whitehouse has everything and more you would ever need. We loved it! Thank you so much!

We go back to the Whitehouse every year, and every year we love it more and more. It is conveniently positioned at the top of the high street with plenty of parking for all guests. It is walking distance to all the local attractions yet set away from the business of the shops. The host is extremely attentive and welcoming and the place is always spotless. There is plenty of space for everyone to stay, en-suites for all the bedrooms and great spacious family areas to all eat together or just to chill out after a day of walking etc. We will be back again next year. The White House is an absolutely lovely place to stay with friends or family. Absolutely everything is provided for a stress-free few days Lyme Regis. The owners were very welcoming & helpful, giving the White House a warm welcoming feeling. We can’t recommend it enough !
