On the second story, the main entrance to the house leads into a cozy living room with woodstove, large flat-screen TV (with movie library and Xbox), wrap-around sofa, master and second bedrooms, laundry room and full bathroom. Did you say hidden bedroom? Behind the living room bookshelf, you'll find the master bedroom with a queen bed and mini-bed (see note below), access to a balcony with propane BBQ, and a delightful spot to snuggle in for the night. Don't feel like going upstairs to the kitchen for a refill? No need, there's a mini fridge and beverage station at the bottom of the interior stairs between the 2nd and 3rd levels of the house. The third level feels like you're perched in your childhood dream treehouse - you are way, way up in the redwood trees! This uppermost level of the home contains a delightfully remodeled kitchen with granite countertops, dining room, full bathroom and third bedroom. There's also a little deck and outdoor stairs to the second and ground levels of the home. The Monte Rio Treehouse beautifully blends modern un-cluttered décor and amenities with the rustic charm of a 1950's river cabin. Don't forget to bring firewood and marshmallows for the chiminea! The fully fenced yard promises entertainment for both kids and adults. With a large table and seating you can dine outside or watch the kids hunt for banana slugs, stellar jays or sticks to roast those marshmallows. Know Before You Book Maximum Occupancy and Quiet Hours: The maximum occupancy at Monte Rio Treehouse is 6. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited at any time. Parking: On-site parking is permitted for a maximum of 3 vehicles. RVs, trailers and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance. Bed Sizes: Lower Level - Master Bedroom: Queen Bed, Second Bedroom: Queen/Twin Bunk Bed Upper Level - Third Bedroom: Queen Bed Sleeping Arrangements: There is a mini bed in the master bedroom that can accommodate a small child. Please note that we do not provide any bedding for this bed.
