We wanted to getaway for our 40th birthday to do some wine tasting and just relax. This place was everything we wanted. Super clean, seedless checking process, beautiful views (the pictures don’t do it justice) and it was so peaceful. We will be back again! Perfect experience- just what we needed :)

As soon as you arrive, it feels like home. Completely comfortable in a beautiful and relaxed setting. Vineyards as far as the eye can see, picturesque hills during the day, a spectacular starry sky at night. Would, without question, recommend the Thatcher Wine Retreat. Also, their wine is pretty great too!

Michele and Sherman have thought of every detail and make themselves available to deal with any problem, no matter how small--I rent a lot with VRBO all over the world and this place always seems like home

This property is stunning. The pictures don’t give it justice. We were all blown away by the beautiful view of the mountains and surrounding vineyards. We enjoyed making a family dinner with the grill, and cooking s’mores on the fire pit afterwards under the stars. The host was very responsive to our questions with texts. The beds were very comfortable, and the house was supplied with all our needs. Looking forward to returning someday soon when the kids are a little older.Good times!

Very relaxing home in the middle of the vineyards with a wonderful front porch and views. Private and serene setting and excellent for star gazing at night. Get your constellation app ready to go. Home was lovely in all respects and not too fancy; good kitchen set up for meal prep.

We were very pleased with the property and the site. Close to town, incredible views, peaceful and serene. The home was very clean and as advertised. Very hot for a couple of days but cooled nicely in the evenings. Hard to go outside but we traveled around for some wine tastings. The kitchen is well appointed and as we had a professional chef in our group we had some amazing meals. This will be on our list for future events in the area. We are long time members at Thacher and always appreciate their wines and their hospitality. Thank you Sherman and Michelle!! We were very pleased with our stay and plan to repeat as often as we can!!

Very clean, comfortable, and beautiful property with excellent views and outdoor space. The home has all necessities. Michelle was very helpful and thoughtful. Highly recommend this for weekend or extended getaway to Paso Robles.

Six friends stayed at this house for a long weekend and did a wine tour together. The property is beautiful with stunning views from the house and multiple outdoor areas. We enjoyed peaceful mornings listening to the animals and fun evenings out by the fire pit. The house itself is modern, clean and comfortable. There were nice touches like extra toiletries and coffee and tea. We were also able to order wine from the vineyard the house is on to be delivered before we arrived--the wine was great! The location is perfect for having a peaceful stay while still being close to town and wineries. We would happily stay here again and have recommended it to our friends/family.
