INCREDIBLE!
I cannot begin to describe how beautiful and peaceful it is to sit on the deck, listen to the waves below, the faint ding of the buoys in the harbor, the sea birds....this was the most amazing vacation home. After we arrived, my husband and I sat on the back deck and he immediately turned to me and said, "I feel like a millionaire"....that's how amazing the views are. The perfect home base for trips to the redwoods and the coast/beaches. About a 30 minute drive north to Redwood National Park, another 30 minutes to Crescent City (which was a beautiful drive along the coast/through redwoods). Crescent City has a brewery which was a nice place for an early dinner. Make the trip to Lost Coast Headlands - WOW!! A short hike from the parking lot down to a deserted beach with black sand, huge rocks...it was like a scene from a movie. Stop in Ferndale on your way home for ice cream. My kids LOVED the private beach. It was relatively steep at the end (as others have commented on), but my 7 year old managed just fine. It is a rocky beach with so much to explore. At low tide we found dozens of beautiful starfish clinging to rocks, and there are sea lions just off-shore resting on the rocks. We scrambled over the boulders to another sandy beach near the harbor. The hot tub was the icing on the cake, overlooking the ocean and the rocky shoreline....just incredible.
Gabe was a fantastic host. We communicated back and forth several times on a few things, he was always extremely prompt and thorough in his responses/actions. You couldn't ask for more.
I hope to be able to return some day. Next time, I'll plan less activities so I can have more time just to sit on the back deck enjoying the sights and sounds.
Thank you Gabe for sharing your beautiful home with us. Our trip to the redwoods wouldn't have been the same without your house.

Beautiful location
This house is all about the view! Trinidad is a lovely little town, we really enjoyed our stay.

Great Location
Great Location, perfect for what we needed to make our family vacation even better. Great kitchen, location, views, and spacious for our kids to have their own space after hiking all day or spending all day at the beach. Easy communication and would recommend this vacation spot

Sibling Birthday Celebration
It was my sister's 80th birthday and we 6 siblings found this place to celebrate. She wanted a place near the redwoods, on the coast, with a view and a hot tub. Bingo this place had it all. As each one entered the house the reaction was "WOW that view is fantastic!!" The house was exactly as pictured and Gabriel was quick to respond to inquiries. I highly reccommend this property.
