We really enjoyed our secluded retreat to Trinidad! This cottage offered lots of bonus amenities plus a view of the ocean! We would definitely stay there again!

The cabin was well equipped for an enjoyable stay! Comfortable and clean!

Loved the front deck for outside eating or just sitting to take in the sweeping open lawn area surrounded by a lush and wild landscape. Inside, all rooms were nice, well-maintained and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was just right, had everything we needed to cook full meals. We both read at night, so really appreciated the end tables and lamps on both sides of the bed, something we seldom find in rentals. The living area is small, and does feel very tight, but we moved furniture around a bit and made it work (then we put it back!) And it's a stretch to call it a place with an ocean view--we had to walk to the far side of the lawn area and up to a raised deck to see it. But it was a lovely spot and very quiet.

It’s small but SUPER CUTE! Great for 2 or 3 people. Loved the decor. We arrived late and the lights were on and waiting for us. Nice touch! Well appointed with everything we needed. Great yard and great location for exploring Redwood National Park.

My wife, 16 month old daughter and I absolutely loved this place. Our growing daughter loved playing in the huge yard while my wife and I enjoyed wine with the ocean view. The cabin was small but perfect for us to leave the tv off and read books while looking at the old growth forest around us. We spent the days in Trinidad hiking some trails and the amazing redwoods scenic drive only 30 minutes away. 10/10 would return. Vacasa also had outstanding customer service!

The property contains a small well-equipped home and expansive yard with some view of ocean and sunset. The proximity to Trinidad, Patrick’s Point and Hwy 101 is perfect.

What strikes you the most about this property is the extremely large grassy outdoor area completely surrounded by flowering shrubs and trees for maximum privacy. From chairs up on the bluff one can see sea stacks and an emerald ocean and, if you are lucky, whales. The inside of the cabin, while small, is all a couple needs. We stayed for 2 weeks and were very comfortable. We cooked most evenings and bought food to prepare at Murphy’s in Trinidad. Within walking distance is a gourmet restaurant , Laurrapin’s, with amazing food for special occasions. And, just down the road is Sue-meg state park where one can hike along the cliff for stunning views. You can’t go wrong with the location. Even the huge redwoods are only an hour to your north with plenty of sights along the way. The only drawback is how hard it is to get to. From almost anywhere you have a long drive over mountain roads. We suggest flying into Eureka/Arcata airport and renting a car if mountain driving is not your thing.
