Lovely, bucolic setting, nicely appointed, friendly hosts and fun farm animals. Close to wonderful hiking and beaches.

First time to see the redwoods
The property was perfect for the two of us. Loved visiting with the animals each day. My husband cooked breakfast each day but we ate dinner at almost every restaurant in town and they were all very good. Perfect little spot to see the redwoods. Just to note there was no TV but that didn’t bother us.

Charming
The animals and cottage are perfect for 3 people. Very clean and has everything you need. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 is due to the lack of heat. The space heater is too bright to sleep with and the fireplace didn't work well with higher winds. I suggest staying in a warmer month after April.

Best vacation yet
Location is incredible and the fun donkeys, goats and cat where a real treat. My wife wanted us to buy the place and move there, it's that great.

Just what the doctor ordered
Me and my spouse had a delightful stay in this sweet cottage. <br />
It was incredibly well insulated so retained the heat from the fireplace well and or the small space heater at night. <br />
We loved such close access to the donkeys and goats and enjoyed feeding them and petting them when they came over. Also loved the outside tub. Just perfect for our getaway. <br />

Great spot for a digital detox
The spot is perfect for a solo or small family retreat. Outdoor baths, games by the fire, jazz on the cd player, animals to pet. The big bonus is the old growth forest just 20 minutes up the road to add forest bathing to your retreat!!

A picturesque Thanksgiving adventure
The most charming cottage and setting possible! It could not be more perfect. From the beautiful cozy cottage to the farm animals to the coastal redwoods, it felt like a Thanksgiving scene from a movie. The cottage kitchen was beautifully equipped and we cooked a full thanksgiving feast for our family. Can’t wait to go back.
