The property and experience as a whole were exactly as described - a comfortable room and bathroom with enough kitchen amenities to get by (coffee maker, mini fridge, kettle, microwave). The real star is the deck! I'll admit I spent most of my stay parked on one of the Adirondacks looking at a spectacular view of the Pacific. John was communicative and conscientious of ensuring that I had all that I needed for my stay. Highly recommend!

a vrbo gem
The view from the very large deck was beautiful. The property was very clean, well equipped, and as described (only better). We enjoyed our 2-night stay very much.

Perfect for couple visiting Redwoods
Lovely room in a family home on the Trinidad coast overlooking the ocean. Room has a separate entrance, parking & bathroom. Very comfortable for a couple. Such a quiet and beautiful location. Close to Redwoods.

John goes out of his way to make it great
Really nice place, the photo is exactly what we saw out the window (well, no wine glasses on the outside table but flowers were on the table). Loaf of local French bread, butter, hard boiled eggs, all the kitchenware needed (not a full kitchen),. He's very respectful of our privacy although for some reason we couldn't text him to let him know when the dishes were ready to be picked up, etc.

Simply amazing
This property will exceed whatever you expect. Seeing the spectacular views of the jetted coast, the trail to the beach swing, the nearby Redwoods National Park are healing in nature. The property owner lives upstairs and communicates through text will promptness and hospitality. The city of Trinidad is full of hospitality and charm. Definitely going back.

Excellent Location for Relaxing Stay Near Trinidad
This property is situated with an outstanding view of woods and the Pacific Ocean. The grounds and rooms were immaculately maintained. The property is designed to open up to the natural setting of our Pacific North Coast.

Beautiful and peaceful stay
My mom and I wanted a peaceful getaway weekend and that's exactly what we got. This property is AMAZING. Ocean views and beautiful trees everywhere. The trail down to the ocean is well worth the trek. Gracious host. Clean, all necessary amenities no TV (big plus) good wifi. Highly recommend.

Peaceful Retreat
This property is quite a Site especially at Sunset which we were able to enjoy both nights. Great location for a centralized place and stay. Overall very accommodating and good trip we lucked out with great Coast weather too.
