We enjoyed this beautiful place. The decorating is so well done, and it was a very comfortable place for our family of four. The enchanted forest behind the home was such a delight, my kids were so impressed by it!

We were so comfortable because the house was clean and beautiful with everything we needed to cook and relax. The fenced backyard was perfect for our dog and two toddlers to play in. In less than 3 minutes we were in Trinidad, and in less than 10 minutes at Moonstone our favorite beach in the area. We loved the home and were very pleased with its cleanliness. The big front porch was wonderful for relaxing outside. We would 100% recommend this home and come again.

If I could, I would leave a 4.5/5 stars. This home was so comfortable ~ from the bed to the couch to the porch ~ it was such a cozy and welcoming space. Very quiet and felt private, even with the other home next door. The kitchen is great to make even the most complicated of meals (which we did!), though it does lack a microwave and a coffee pot/French press (it does have a fancy espresso machine and pour-over coffee pot). The cleaning crew does an AMAZING job...even the refrigerator was spotless! Excellent location from which to explore Trinidad, the Redwoods, and even Arcata (go to the Arcata Marshes, if you are a birder!). The only reason I would knock off half a star is the house lacks some kitchen supplies I consider to be essential when renting a home with a kitchen...plastic wrap, tin foil, more Tupperware/food storage, and the like. The house does not come with basics like olive oil so be sure to bring everything you need to cook with! Other than that, it's a wonderful home to come back to after a day of exploring. I'll rent the Blue Llama again the next time we're in Trinidad.

One of the best places we have ever stayed. Perfect inside. The kitchen is well stocked and thoroughly modern. The Internet was high Speed without any interruptions.<br /> <br /> Very tastefully decorated. We will definitely return next year.

We had a great stay at the Blue Llama in Trinidad. The house was ready and clean upon arrival. Kitchen was well stocked and fun to cook with family. The place has great energy and good taste. I mostly loved all the crystals throughout the house.

This is the third time we'd stayed at the Blue Llama, and it never disappoints. The house is clean, comfy and has everything you need for a great stay. The kitchen is well equipped, with dishes, utensils, pots, pans and some pantry supplies. The front and back yards are fully fenced and our dogs have a great time. The location is near several great dog friendly beach's. If you are looking for a special dinner, the Larrupin Cafe is a short drive, and the food is always excellent!

The location of our stay in Trinidad was convenient and roomy enough for four adults, two children and a dog. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked to accommodate our needs. The only concern I have is the fact that we knew nothing about a charge for a second car until after we had already arrived. It had the feel of a “Oh, by the way.” charge and was not up front like the rest of needed important information.
