We had an amazing experience! Gorgeous views, clean and updated property, great central location for visiting the Redwoods and hiking trails. Must see Sue-Meg State park and hike down to Agate Beach. The property was wonderful to explore and we even found banana slugs. Overall we would love to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful oceanfront chalet! The views were amazing and our house was very comfortable and clean for our family of five. The town of Trinidad is right down the street and has several great restaurants, as well as a local market that had everything we needed. Spent our time exploring cliffside ocean coves and hiking in the redwood forest. One of the highlights of our three week trip from L.A. to Seattle!

From booking to checkout Kay was a meticulous host. She was always available to answer all of our questions before and during our stay at her beautiful house. The beach chalet was perfectly equipped for our family of 6. It had everything we needed to feel right at home during our stay, including lots of extra towels for our big family! The beds were so comfortable and we spent our late evenings relaxing in the spotless spa. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The view of the Pacific Ocean was out of this world! Ending our days with sunsets over the Pacific was pure bliss. The listing pictures don’t do it justice. We chose Kay’s home for our stay because of it’s location near the beach and the Redwood’s and it was perfect! We spent our days split between the beautiful beach and seaside downtown of Trinidad and visiting the Redwood National Parks. It was everything we dreamed it would be. We grocery shopped at Murphy’s Market, had pizza at Headies, and dinner and ice cream at The Lighthouse Grill. We ventured north to Prairie Creek to hike and went to Trees of Mystery in Klamath. The only thing I’d change about our stay is that I would have stayed longer in this beautiful property! I really hope one day we can come back and do it all again! We had a wonderful stay at the Oceanfront Chalet. The home itself is modern and very comfortable--full kitchen with everything you might need, the bathrooms are great (the showers are AMAZING), the beds are supremely comfortable. The home is airy and full of light, and you are perched right on top of the Pacific coast. One could sit on the deck, or in the hot tub, and take in the view all day, and that would make an entire relaxing vacation. The laundry and workout equipment are easily accessible in the main house, and the chalet feels very private even being a "second" house on the property. Really nice washer and dryer, and the exercise equipment and ping pong table were really welcome. The property is only about five minutes from the grocery store and the rest of Trinidad, but it feels perfectly secluded on the eight wooded acres. Our host was incredibly helpful and accommodating (she was not onsite while we were there, but was accessible at any time) and she really steered us in the right direction for local attractions, restaurants, and resources. We have stayed at many VRBO homes, and this is the nicest one yet. I don't think we've ever had the experience of NOT having something that was slightly disappointing in a property, until now. Everything was just great.

Beautiful home, super comfortable beds, very welcoming! The kitchen had everything we needed! We enjoyed the hot tub and amazing views off the front porch! There is tons of space, way more than we expected!

This house was perfect for our family. It’s gorgeous, clean and the views are breathtaking. Kay has thought of everything. Right down to stocking coffee. She was also very easy to reach and answered all questions we had promptly. We loved the hot tub after long days of hiking in the Redwoods. I would recommend this house to anyone going to the area.

This place was amazing! The view is undeniably beautiful and the place is so serene and peaceful! We loved the use of the spa & the gym/ping pong table for the kids. The inside was very clean and had almost everything you needed. I would recommend two things to the owner Kay. First is to have a sound bar for the TV as the volume is kind of low. The second is to have a one larger pot for cooking noodles, larger portions of food, etc., but these are small requests. She has more items in the house than all beach houses I’ve stayed in so that was a plus. Kay is also very easy to contact and very detailed and friendly. Ty for all the responses. The grounds are amazing and we can’t say enough wonderful things about her place. We would definitely come back again.

Decorative furnishings, gorgeous view, beautiful house & rooms. The loft provided a fun experience for the children. Expensive for one night. We had to vacuum the rug, but the rest of the house was clean. I thought you could walk down to the beach, but maybe I miss read. There were steps & rope to go down instead.
