We love Nettles Island. I like to fish, my wife likes the beach. My girls like the pools and the bakery. We all love riding the island on the golf cart so renting one is highly recommended.

The pros: This property has a dock for small boats and allows pets. The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking necessities. The cons: The island is not as pet-friendly as it could be. Very limited space to walk dogs. The Hutchinson Island boat ramp is very difficult to manuever.

This is the 3rd time we've stayed at this property. Good on-lagoon location, 2 nice pools and other low-key recreation opportunities in the community (putt-putt, shuffleboard, tennis, pickleball, etc.) Bikes under the house that we could use. Disappointed that kayak rentals are no longer available in the community. Beach was being replenished while we were there, so the ocean swimming was kinda yuk.

When I first inquired about this unit, Allison was very quick to respond and answered all my questions. Once we arrived, she checked on us too. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed for our spring break week! We loved having the dock off the back and spent many mornings and evenings there. We would definitely rent here again and recommend it to our family and friends!

Absolutely loved our time at Nettles Island, wish we would have had the time to stay longer. Lots of amenities. The rental was beautifully decorated, beach cottage feel. The kitchen was fully stocked and functional as I cooked Thanksgiving dinner there. Great property for families with young adults as it's right on the water. Will definitely stay again.

Loved our stay. It was the perfect property for us. Allison, the owner, was very responsive to questions in the early stages of planning. No need for help after we arrived since she had everything perfectly organized. We did extend a night and that was a simple process.

We had a wonderful week celebrating husbands birthday and lots of fishing. House was very clean and comfortable. We were planning on bring our dog but glad we didn't. She is used to a big back yard and the grassy areas are a distance from the house. We were very happy with ourstay.

We have stayed on the Island once before and knew how much fun it could be if you take advantage of all the amenities offered. This trip was even better due to renting this home which exceeded our expectations. Allison was great answering all questions prior to our arrival. Thankfully we never needed to reach out to her because everything in this house was perfect. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need for a great meal. The decor gave it that beachy warm feel and with the dock in the back to fish from or enjoy some morning coffee it could not get any better than this. We played music all day with the Alexa installed and she has put together a binder full of helpful Info on restaurants and activities you can do. Having the menus of all nearby restaurants was very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back to this same house next summer.

We enjoyed being able to walk out and sit on the dock everyday. Allison was great she answered any questions we had I love nettles island it's such a great place.
