The pictures seriously don’t do this place justice. Had absolutely everything we needed, with grocery stores ten minutes away. Take full advantage of a stay here. Great communication. Will definitely stay again.

Great Spring Break getaway!

Very nice location. Great stay. Comfortable.

The cabin was nicer than the pictures online and SO clean:). Also it was nicely stocked with things like TP and paper towels. We definitely want to come back when it’s warm enough to swim in the lake.

Good sized cabin with everything needed. Owners were easy to talk with and met us upon checkin to make sure everything was all set. Overall great place. Bedrooms would get a little chilly if doors closed but extra blankets helped. Plenty of space and well set up.

Great week away staring at the lake. Enjoying the peace and quite with family. The dogs loved it too 💜

Our stay was wonderful. We arrived and the first thing we noticed was how perfect the cottage was. Neat as a pin...nicely decorated but not "cluttered" . So nicely supplied...silly things that make your stay seamless....FILTERS AND COFFEE!!!! spices, tea, TP, trash bags Paper towels. dish soap....very thoughtful supplies. I loved the fire pit and the view was spectacular....The night sky...AMAZING. We brought our motorcycles to ride and enjoy the back roads...It was COLD and wonderful to return...turn the gas fireplace on a bit to take the chill off and relax. It was wonderful in every way. I'm excited to return. Just a great trip!

Clean, quiet, well stocked. Location was perfect for us. Acadia, Penobscot Observatory, Bar Harbour, Baxter State Park all very reasonable drives. The best part was on the days between activities or sightseeing, the kayaks, canoe and paddle boat are at the ready and still provide active fun for all. Campfires are a breeze, easy to keep up with laundry, lake was absolutely beautiful, wonderful stay!! Thank you for sharing your lovely cabin with us.

Easy, great value, and the property exceeded expectations.

We had the lake house for a two week rental 08/22 - 09/05/2020. My son, two big dogs and I had 11 days on our own, my husband joined us on the last four days. The dogs, by far, had the best time. My son caught fish with a net, 9 one day, 13 another (all released). I took out a kayak twice; my husband an son canoed; and we took out the paddle boat a couple times. Unfortunately for us the weather didn't cooperate all the time, and it was a bit of a struggle to entertain an 8 year old boy on several chilly and rainy wash-out days. To that end, my only criticism of the lake house would be that there are no cable movie channels, nor is there a DVD player. (Thankfully I had my laptop, and with the wifi we were able to watch some movies.) On our last full day we saw a bald eagle, and we saw sea planes fly over the lake a few times. It's a beautiful location, fully as the photos show, and there are a grocery store, Walmart, Walgreens, and a few dentists in the area (that I sadly needed for an emergency, unfortunately). Thanks for our two week break. Our dogs were depressed as soon as they saw us packing up the car to head back to NYC. Thanks for the relaxing time!
