Very nice place, great location and the owner is top notch . I couldn't ask for anything more she went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and always responded promptly. If I'm ever in the area again this would be the first place I would even consider.

Great value for a terrific location on a picturesque bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. Within 30-45 minutes of Saugatuck, South Haven and Holland. Beach is tight, due to high water, but such a luxury to have your own attached beach. To access you must be in good shape to walk the metal stairway. Great workout. Well loved home, with comfortable beds and essentials needed in the kitchen. True, some stove burners are not working. There are posted signs reminding you to clean dishes well, to move the furniture back to where you found it and to clean bbq grate if used. Note, there is traffic noise at night in two out of the three bedrooms. When we arrived there was a mixup on our booking date and the home was not clean and ready for us. I called the owner who quickly rectified and was able to get her cleaning service in to set up the home and make the beds. Small inconvenience that was fixed fast. Please note, linens and towels washed and dried with floral scented cleaner. We definitely prefer unscented. Note this if you are sensitive.

Great place to stay if you want lake views and access to the water. The house was cozy. The beds were comfy (on the soft side). The house is close to the road so you do get some traffic noise in the bedrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed. Not all of the burners on the stove top worked but we were able to cook on the few that did and the oven worked well. We were lucky to have a little bit of beach. Most places nearby had no beach left due to high water levels. There were plenty of chairs, tables, umbrellas and toys down at the beach. There was even a kayak and small paddle board but no paddles so you may want to pack your paddles if you have some. Overall this place was a good value for the location!
