Was here for my second visit in a year. Cottage has everything for everybody, including dog bowls! What a lovely vibe this has opening the bedroom window at night and hearing the waves! LOVE the area; Fennville, Douglas and Saugutuck all adorable towns have everything you need or want to do. Master bed was wonderful and the place was impeccably clean on arrival. Loved the beach access next door @ park!!!!!! Wish I could of found a vacuum before I left so I could have cleaned up a bit 😃!

This was our second timing staying at Lakeshore Haven and it did not disappoint! We love the privacy (and that it’s dog friendly) yet still close to both Saugatuck and South Haven. The weather was lovely so we visited Oval Beach and a nearby nature preserve and enjoyed a fire in the evening.

This was a wonderful place for a long weekend vacation. The property was beautiful and a short drive to great restaurants, coffee, wineries, and hiking. The cottage was comfortable and cozy to stay in and was exactly what we needed!

The property and it's location are great. The only issue was with the hot water smelling strongly like rotten eggs. We couldn't use it at all which made showering very hard. Otherwise, we had a great time.

Lovely cottage, felt like a real Michigan lake cottage. Very nicely appointed. They even left pasta and wine if we got in late and needed dinner. Great location right next to county park. Minutes from Saugatuck/Douglas area. Lots to do. We brought our dog. We so appreciate the opportunity to travel with her. Note if you travel with dog the county park does not allow dogs but the host pointed us to another beach very close that does.

Beautiful cabin by the lake, the cabin was very clean and as advertised. It is great for a family with kids and is located right next to a park with a play area and beach access. The cabin was very comfortable and brings you back to the 80s and 90s with a huge collection of books, puzzles, board games, video cassettes and DVDs along with all the modern touches you need. Highly recommend!

Stayed in this adorable cottage with my dogs in April. Loved that it was off season! Cottage is immaculate with very comfy furniture and beds. 10min walk to gorgeous beach. Kitchen is fully loaded if you cook. The Farmhouse Deli in Douglas IS AMAZING!! Take out or eat in. The Saugatuck Township Tails & Trails Dog Park is
VERY nice, huge, free & friendly. Restaurants nearby. I will book again for sure. Shannon the host is the best, if you need anything.

This is absolutely great place to stay for a family with kids and pets. Ideal location: 5 min walking to a beach, playground, and nature trails; 10-20 minutes driving to Holland, South Haven, Saugatuck and many farms and winery. The house is clean and well maintained and has everything for cooking and entertainment. My only comment would be about stairs to the second floor and basement that can be difficult for older adults.
We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend this property. Rachel, thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful beach house! We had a great time and and hope to come again.

Wonderful, very peaceful and just a short walk thru park to peaceful lake Michigan Beach also the park would be great for kids the owner was great as always this was our 2nd stay we enjoyed both stays.
