The house was very nice. We used it for a home base while we were out exploring the beautiful area surounding it. Great location! We want to return during the summer to enjoy the lake more. Highly recommended.

We very much enjoyed everything about this Rental Home, it was clean, close to everything, and the views were amazing! We would love to go back here again in a different season and enjoy going out on the lake.

Near to Traverse City and all the great Michigan wineries.

Although the weather could have been better, the cottage was in a great location for what we wanted. Located close to Frankfort, Traverse City, Suttons Bay, and Sleeping Bear National Park. We made it to all! The cottage was VERY clean and neat. This is number one on our list of what we're looking for in a rental. We didn't cook at all but noticed that if we had wanted to, there was anything and everything you would need. We also like some privacy and quiet. This had both. The time of year probably helped. It's a nice view of the lake from the deck. The weather kept me from fishing, but hope to return another time to maybe try again!

Lovely view, quiet, comfortable and clean. Just my husband and I for this trip, but would be perfect for a larger group requiring a degree of separation. Walk out has full bath, second kitchen, another bedroom, even a pool table! We enjoyed our meals at the Stone Oven in Lake Ann and Apache Trout in Traverse City and exploring lakeshore communities on the peninsula. Easy paddle around the small lake with provided boats. Natural woodsy feel and wildlife including great blue herons and a couple kinds of turtles. Highly recommend this property!

Lake Bryan was perfect, quite, clear water, good rowing the boat. We were very lucky to have perfect weather the four days we were there. The house was exactly what we expected and more. Everything one needed was available. Thanks for a wonderful time!

What a great house! The lake was a bit weedy so it wasn't super-great for swimming, but we still enjoyed the water in the paddle boat. The house was well-stocked and the view was perfect. No complaints whatsoever! Thanks, Steve!!

We stayed a week at the house before Labor Day and had a great time. The house had everything we needed and was very well stocked. It was clear what we needed to bring and what was provided. The house itself was extremely comfortable, and we loved the dock and boats. We went out daily for a swim, paddle, or row. The weather was a little warm and humid, so the air conditioning was a real plus at times. In terms of location, Lake Ann's amenities are close by, and we enjoyed the playground, brewery, restaurant, and grocery. In the area, we were very close to all parts of Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City, and the Leelanau Peninsula. Communication regarding the property was good as well. All questions answered promptly! I would highly recommend the property!

This spacious house comes equipped with every gadget/utensil you need, has large and cozy patio on main floor (where we had our lunch and dinner). We only occupied 2 bd on that floor , though there were more room downstairs: living room w/pool table, bedroom, bathroom, even another kitchen. But the real winner is the view of perfect in size lake of tranquil water and sandy bottom, with lilies white and yellow and trees/forest around. There are other properties near, but we rarely even heard immediate neighbors, it was so quiet and peaceful. I swam in this lake every morning , it's very clean and warm. We did not use boat/canoe, instead took kayaking trip down Platte river. The area has a lot to offer, starting with Sleeping Bear Dunes, which we explored by hiking, driving its scenic route, swimming off its shores on lake Michigan. Overall time spent there was very relaxing and enjoyable. Looking forward to return,

Wonderful location allowed us to bike and hike Leelanau area. Million dollar view from deck overlooking the lake. Great bed and furnishings. Garage is a bonus. Hope to return next year.
