Dwin was an a exceptional host! Very responsive and communicative. The unit was perfectly located for us - equal distance from Glen Arbor, Frankfort and Traverse city. The space accommodated three adults comfortably for 5 days. We came prepared with a plug-in griddle for cooking, which was helpful. Unit stayed cool even on hot days. All in all, a great location and space with a very attentive host!

Tan pronto puse un pie dentro del apartamento supe que nuestra salida familiar tendría un plus. Soy una persona picky pero cuando vi la limpieza y cada detalle bien cuidado me sentí aliviada 👌 Es perfecto para 4 personas, El apartamento ha sido renovado recientemente y está equipado con todo lo necesario y más. Tienen una sección de golosinas para la venta, mi esposo y mi hijo vieron una película 🎬 🍿🍿con popcorn y soda sin necesidad de salir a comprar. El Internet con alta señal de recepción. En el baño muchas toallas, tina de hidromasaje etc. La cocina no tiene estufa pero sí tostador, microwave y horno eléctrico. La dueña estuvo siempre pendiente de que todo estuviera en perfectas condiciones y que tuviéramos lo necesario. Lo recomiendo 100% y no puedo esperar a que sea primavera para volver y hospedarme de nuevo aquí. Muchas Gracias!

This was such a cute little place to stay at, perfect for our little get away. It was within 30 minutes of everything we wanted to do and the host had great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. I would definitely stay here again!

This a cute remodeled property and was just what we needed for our family of 4 (2 young kids) and our little up north get away. Lake Ann is just a short jog down the road and surrounding area has plenty of parks and beaches to relax

To start the home was clean, I’ll give it that. The lock box code to enter the home was wrong. And when we called Dwin she did not pick up. We did figure it out by putting in a random code though. The door that connected to the rest of the house was open when we got there and quite dirty and cluttered on the other side. It had an extra bed not far from where we were staying which made us a bit uncomfortable. Dwin then asked if she could “sneak through” our apartment to get to the upper level because she didn’t bring her key to the front door. We didn’t want to be rude so we told her yes. The next day she asked if she could do laundry because she didn’t have one upstairs for herself. I felt very uncomfortable and was compelled to say yes because it was not my home. We did not feel like we had any privacy! On top of that, the WiFi was not paid and we had zero internet our entire stay. There were drinks and snacks available for us, however, there was a charge for each one of varying prices like .75 cents to $1.50. Which I found a bit petty, but not an inconvenience. There were zero linens for us to use in the living room. We had to use two blankets and a pillow from the bedroom. On one occasion the neighbor was screaming at the person inside of her home and then promptly squealed her tires out of the driveway and down the road. After arriving home I received an email that there were four pillowcases missing and a top sheet from the living room linens. Dwin was very kind about it and she found the sheets but I was very aggravated after everything else that had happened. To summarize: I felt extremely uncomfortable especially considering that I had my 10 month old son with me. The hosts need to give their guests a lot more privacy.

This place is great. Everything is brand new. We had a few minor hiccups because we were the first guests and discovered a few things the owner was still finalizing, but Dwin was easy to work with to get things resolved. She’s continuing to make improvements to make the place even better, so I wouldn’t let the newness hold anyone back from renting. It’s already a great place. The mattress seemed to be the only thing that wasn’t new, but it was really comfortable. There are a ton of pillows and they were all fluffy and new! We used this as our home-base to visit Sleeping Bear & Traverse City. It worked out perfectly for us, as both are about 20 minutes away. The kitchenette is minimal, so it would be difficult to make real meals here - but why would you when there are so many great eating options nearby? We made coffee and ate bagels we brought, then headed out for the day. Owner provided generous amenities (shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, coffee, towels) which made our stay comfortable and easy. We never heard or saw “grandma” upstairs. The neighborhood is very quiet. There is a lovely outdoor seating area, but the area was still in the process of being cleaned up/landscaped when we were there, so it wasn’t a very pretty place - but I suspect it will be a lovely place to sit by Summer 2019.
