I contacted the management company before posting this, telling them I was going to be giving them a bad review. They told me they would speak to the owner and get back to me. I waited over a week, and still haven't heard back so here is my review. The picture of the river is not from the subject property. The house has a mold/water problem; it stinks like mold, even though there are deodorizes hidden throughout the house. Numerous water damage spots are in the ceiling. The rental was advertised as a 2 full bath. The second bath is a partially finished (only drywall has been screwed on) in the very damp basement. There is only a commode and sink on the concrete floor. There is a TV in the living room pictures, however the TV is useless, because there is no cable, or Firestick or antenna/Rabbit ears. There is not even a radio in the house! The lock box on the front door is really hard to operate and see the numbers. There is a large cleaning fee, but the floors were dirty, carpeting in bedrooms were dirty/unvacuumed, you have to take out the garbage cans to the road for the garbage truck and the dishes were dirty in the cabinets. Coffee maker takes about 30 minutes to brew a pot of coffee. The light switches and outlets do not work in the bathroom. The fireplace has a sign on it saying it does not work. Overall, the property was not worth the extravagant fees we were charged. Also be advised the management group sends a text at midnight (CST), the night before your stay begins, reminding you of your upcoming trip and an additional text also at midnight the 2nd to last night to remind you your trip ends the following day. I question the logic of sending texts at midnight, because they are very disruptive to people. Note- I've stay in a lot of VRBO's and I have never given a less than excellent review until now.
