Our family of 4 just returned from a 3-night stay at the cabin at Happy Farm and cannot give enough praise for both the cabin/property AND the owners!
The charming, comfortable cabin was full of historic items and was beautiful and welcoming. There's plenty of room (inside and outside) and little unique touches that set this place apart! The scenic, quiet surroundings are well-cared for and make for a serene getaway. We love to cook and used the charcoal grill (but they have propane too!) and roasted smores on the deck's firepit every night. If the weather had been better, we would have also made use of the terrific on=deck "bar" area.
We loved using the pontoon boat, and the lake is fabulous for swimming/floating (and of course, they have all kinds of water crafts/floats for your use).
