We had a wonderful stay at this very lovely home! It was perfect for our family of 6, the house is well stocked, beautifully decorated and just up the road from the beach! The owners are great and made sure our stay was nothing less than perfect! This home is about 35 minutes from lake George village and about 20 minutes from fort Ticonderoga so it’s close to all activities but very peaceful, relaxing and the star gazing from the back deck at night is incredible!!! We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to lake George!

We could not have been happier staying at this lovely home in Hague NY by Lake George. It’s a 5min drive from The public beach, fishing, kayaking, and more. This home is impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and slept our family of 4 comfortably. I enjoyed my morning cup of coffee on the deck, listening to the sounds of nature. This home is 20mins from Bolton Landing, 20mins from Ticonderoga, and 30mins from the ferry to Vermont.

We went for my nieces wedding -4 adults everything was excellent and Leona was wonderful for communicating-place is extremely well equipped it even has a rotary phone -brought back memories -very clean and comfortable -beach is a short 5 min drive away and the fireflies were lovely -thank you for a comfortable stay

Enjoyed our 5 night stay at Leona's property. Chalet was well-equipped, very clean and described well in the listing. Really enjoyed the deck and screened in porch - added bonus that the deck & grill were shaded in the evening given the direction of the house. Would highly recommend if looking to stay in the area

Excellent stay cozy

We had a wonderful time to rest, relax and unplug at the chalet. The house is situated on a mountain road just a couple miles up from the quaint hamlet of Hague, which sits on Lake George. While we did venture out daily to hike, see sights in Ticonderoga and even made our way up to Vermont, via the Lake Champlain Bridge; we loved coming home each afternoon to relax and lounge on the deck and then cuddle up to a fire in the evening. The house accommodations and amenities are exceptional for a VRBO, and really had everything we needed to cook all of our meals, and spread out for a restful night’s sleep! Two full bathrooms were also a bonus, that you don’t often see in a rental. The house is tastefully decorated with beautiful woodwork, throughout. The enclosed porch that leads out to the deck is a great bonus space to be outdoors when it rains—with plenty of comfy chairs to get cozy in. One of the things we most looked forward to was experiencing the night sky (based on the reviews we read), and our week was filled with cloudy evenings, right up to our very last night…and let me tell you, it was simply breathtaking—I’ve never seen so many stars in the sky that seemed so close! My husband even spotted a shooting star in the wee morning hours! Leona was incredibly easy to work with during the entire rental process, and we appreciated her helpful directions to the house, especially since we were driving down the mountain in the rain the first night when we arrived. We would definitely stay at this lovely home again, should our adventures take us back to the area!

We stayed for a week in August. The cabin is so beautiful and tastefully decorated you will enjoy being outside and inside. We did spend most of our time in the screen in porch which is has plenty of seating. If you don’t want to cook the town of Ticonderoga is about 15-20 minutes away. We spent time just enjoying the cabin but also did day trips in to the region - Lake George village, Saratoga race track, Fort Ticonderoga, and more locally the beach at Hague. The cabin had everything we could need in the way of kitchen/ home amenities- dishwashing tabs, trash bags, paper towels, even zip loc bags. Just a note - while we were there it was very hot and the cabin doesn’t have AC but several fans are provided and we were able to make it work.

We loved our stay at this charming cabin in Hague! Everything was perfectly clean and organized. Pat and Leona were so helpful with the check in process and sharing information about boat rentals, restaurants and grocery stores in the area. There was plenty of room for our family which included teenagers who loved the upstairs loft area and huge outside deck where they could chill and relax. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking meals which we did most days. Outside grill was in perfect working order and we loved the large fire pit where we roasted marshmallows and made s’mores :). The town beach was just a quick drive away where we were able to easily launch our jet ski and rent a boat at the nearby Dockside marina. The 35 minute drive down to the Village of Lake George was scenic and had plenty of shops and food places to visit, and the kids enjoyed the live band on Wednesday night at the park. We definitely plan to come back! Pat and Leona were amazing hosts!
