My husband and I enjoyed staying in this rental on the lake. The owners are very helpful and the place is comfortable with everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. There is a large deck with lake view perfect for enjoying a meal or reading a book.

This cottage is right on the Lake w/ wonderful dock. Bring your boat and fishing gear. Cottage is spotless and comfortable with a wonderful deck overlooking the lake. Nice property nice location. House was nice and clean and met our needs. Interior could use some modernizing but other than that it was perfect.

We had a wonderful visit at this property. The owners are lovely people. Thoughtful and gracious hosts. The cottage isn't fancy, but it was exaclty what we wanted. So peaceful and quiet. Perfect sunrises. Comfy enough bed. Awesome views from the house (all windows!), the deck and lakeside. There is a full and complete kitchen, so we were happy cooking and eating out when we went to town. It was chilly and rainy for part of our trip, and we were a little disappointed that the wood stove didn't work -- but we didn't need it, the heaters kept us plenty warm. The internet worked well. The TV is tiny, but we didn't watch much TV. GPS took us there, no problem. Important advice - stop to pick up groceries on your way up to Silver Bay. There are no restaurants or grocery stores near by that are open in the evening. We arrived at nightfall, just as it started to pour, to learn the closest store that was open was 15 miles away. Our gracious hosts brought us coffee, tea, milk and offered us more. We loved our visit.

First, I would like to thank Forest for his hospitality. Even before we arrived, he was very easy to get a hold of and answered all the questions I had around the area and the property itself. Very prompt with replies. The house itself is as pictured. Not a whole lot of room but enough for our comfort. No complaints. The view is amazing and definately made it a very relaxing trip just to sit outside and enjoying the view. Overall, very good experience and felt very comfortable, which made it easier to relax throughout the trip. Thank you again Forest.

We loved the cabin. And close proximity to Bolton Landing. Full of restaurants and shops.

Had a wonderful visit to Lake George last week. The property was great — very relaxing!! The hosts were fantastic and accommodating. Would definitely return :)

Perfect location on the northern end of Lake George. Very comfortable house, very clean. Owners were very easy to work with. Plenty of windows looking out at the lake. Cooked on the grill outside and sat on the porch and enjoyed the water views. Off the dock is a sandy bottom which is great for kids who want to go swimming. Nice open grass covered backyard. Would highly recommend staying here.

If quiet and a little remote iswhat you are looking for this will fit the bill.. Still close enough to do fun things in town but far enough to be away from car and boat traffic.
