We had a wonderful visit at this property. The owners are lovely people. Thoughtful and gracious hosts. The cottage isn't fancy, but it was exaclty what we wanted. So peaceful and quiet. Perfect sunrises. Comfy enough bed. Awesome views from the house (all windows!), the deck and lakeside. There is a full and complete kitchen, so we were happy cooking and eating out when we went to town. It was chilly and rainy for part of our trip, and we were a little disappointed that the wood stove didn't work -- but we didn't need it, the heaters kept us plenty warm. The internet worked well. The TV is tiny, but we didn't watch much TV. GPS took us there, no problem.
Important advice - stop to pick up groceries on your way up to Silver Bay. There are no restaurants or grocery stores near by that are open in the evening. We arrived at nightfall, just as it started to pour, to learn the closest store that was open was 15 miles away. Our gracious hosts brought us coffee, tea, milk and offered us more. We loved our visit.
