Very nice, clean, Adirondack style home. Downstairs bathroom with a hot tub shower. Great deck to watch an Eagle fly by, see loons/ ducks in river or stargaze at night. Easy access to wade or just sit by river. Waterfall just short walk up from house. Hiked to and swam in beautiful Tenant Falls on trip. Relaxing location to be close to nature!

We had an excellent time! Whether it was hiking, biking or swimming, it was the perfect Adirondack getaway. The cabin exceeded our expectations, and we’ve already recommended it to our family and friends. Thanks for the lovely stay with the bears. ;)

The house is so well cared for and clean from top to bottom. You can tell the owners really take pride in this house and were very responsive to any questions we had. It was so comfortable and relaxing. Having the river right out the front door was a treat. Its just a short trip to Northville for some shopping and dining. I have to recommend Klippel's Cozy Corner. What nice people and delicious food. Access to the lake is close, hiking is close, we did not run out of things to do. A short trip to Saratoga Springs was a fun excursion. This house is on the top of our list for next year. You won't be disappointed.

The pictures do this home no justice, absolutely immaculate inside and out. The entire cabin was thoughtfully put together to accommodate anyone, from the toiletries to the binder covering things to do in the area, and where to go! Bjorn was absolutely fantastic and a perfect host, allowing us to do as we needed and keep in contact for anything and everything that may have arisen during our stay. The area is absolutely perfect for a getaway with a large river passing by the front of the home (it definitely gets low during the spring/early summer season but comes up later) and two large lakes nearby, the Great Sacandaga and Woods lake, Woods lake is more for the outdoorsman looking to hike a little to get to it, but pristine upon arrival. The locals are welcoming, and Northville is a perfect little town. While you’re in the area do yourself a favor and eat at The Aspen! The food is superb! (Reservations are a good idea and almost necessary everywhere as seasonal hours vary dramatically) Myself and my party will certainly be returning next year, and every year as long as this is an option!!! My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this riverside lodge in mid-March 2022. Bjorn and Sharon were so helpful by promptly responding to any questions we had. Checking in was easy. From the moment we walked in, we felt warm and welcome. The home is very clean and comfortable. Every morning we would go for walks along the river road. One day, we saw a family of eagles! Be sure to bring your binoculars. It was so interesting to see the river change from an Arctic landscape to a flowing river in just a few days. We brought groceries with us and found all the cookware and utensils we needed in the kitchen to prepare delicious meals which we enjoyed at the kitchen table by the light of the fireplace. After dinner we would bundle up, and go out on the front port to look at the stars. Checking out was easy too. I would be very happy to return here in the future. Thank you Bjorn and Sharon for a magical stay!

Everything we needed was provided! Our bed was very comfortable and we loved how the living and eating area was arranged. Couldn’t have asked for more!

We had a lovely weekend at Bjorn and Sharon’s home. It was incredibly clean, has all amenities needed, and the decor was so cozy. The view is so calming, especially with snow falling over the river. We hope to be able to visit again soon!
