The landlords, Betty and Narberth were awesome. They worked with me when I had to change the dates due to my parents being stuck out of the country due to COVID. They were warm and welcoming. I would advise anyone looking to get away from it all to stay in their lovely home. I am going to miss seeing that awesome view every morning! If I ever get a chance to go back up there I will stay there!!!!

We loved staying here. The only fall back was the carpet downstairs. It needs replacing. Also, bring your own bright light for the bathroom. It is impossible to put on makeup without one. I carry one of the ones that looks like a light switch. It worked perfectly.

Was a relaxing, quiet, peaceful time away from home.

My husband and I enjoyed a long weekend in the woods with spectacular sunrises through the wonderful, clean A-frame windows! Betty was very responsive and prompt. The property lived up to the reviews and exceeded our expectations! Thank you Betty and team:)

We had a wonderful stay! The house was immaculate and well equipped and the rate was reasonable. It was remote enough to enjoy peace and solitude but close enough to Northville for groceries and walking around. The view of the river and surrounding mountains was beautiful and we especially enjoyed watching the deer come right up on the property to graze and sip from the river. Betty told us of a water fall a short walk away which was a real treat. She was a great host! We hope to make this an annual stop and next time would love to stay longer, rent kayaks, enjoy the lake and bring our motorcycle for rides up in the mountains! Highly recommend this for a great getaway!

Betty's River Road accommodations were delightful. It was very comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck and loved being near so many lakes and hiking trails. We would definitely go back given the opportunity!

The house was all you could ask for and more.... beautifully furnished with a very well appointed kitchen. Close to Lapland Lake with awesome snow conditions this week. Betty, the owner was nice as she could be. We will definitely be returning!
