This charming five bedroom house opens to a large screen front porch with outside dining and a view right up the lake. Immediately across from our idyllic sand beach on Paradox Lake it makes an excellent family vacation spot. Two of the bedrooms on the main floor each have two twins or one king bed, the third has a single. Upstairs there are two bedrooms one with two twins, one with two twins and a double. There is a bathroom is on the main floor with a shower. The upstairs bathroom has an antique tub. The living room is a great room with bark covered beams, a balcony on each side and separate stairs leading to each upstairs bedroom. About the neighbourhood
We are located in the hamlet of Severance in the Adirondack Park in northern New York State just a mile off Exit 28 of I-87, the Adirondack Northway which runs from New York City to Montreal. We are surrounded by Wilderness Areas with excellent hiking. We are situated on the shore of Paradox lake with fishing at all times of the year ( ice fishing -- we have three winter houses listed with Flip Key --Breezes, Westward and Birches). We have an idyllic sand beach with Adirondack chairs for relaxing, boats of all kinds, a meadow with tennis court, volleyball court, horseshoe pitch and tetherball. We are just four miles from a challenging 9 hole golf course in Schroon Lake, 20 miles from historic Fort Ticonderoga on Lake Champlain, an hour and a half drive from the Adirondack Museum in Blu...
