Our family recently had a wonderful stay at this property. The hosts were extremely responsive and went above and beyond to make sure whatever we needed was taken care of.

Hosts were very attentive and responsive. Property and surroundings are superb! All in the family want a return visit.

The home was beautiful and beautifully decorated. Plenty of room for a family of eight! The views were absolutely breath taking, but there is a drive to get to it. It takes 30 minutes to get to Boone and Blowing Rock, but it was worth the drive. There is a wonderful hiking trail outside the back door that we took full advantage of! The owners were attentive when the e-mail check -instructions did not come through and make sure we received text messages. Our family had an enjoyable time!

On the Rocks exceeded my expectations. When you go by reviews on VRBO and they are all 5 stars, you feel pretty confident that the place will be nice. But I really didn’t realize how amazing the location, views and amenities would be. Our family was there with our 3 small grandchildren. We were able to use the workout facility and restaurant up the hill from the house, and to play pickle ball and sit by one of the many fire pits steps away. We spent most of our time out on the amazing porch and grilled out there one of the nights. We even sat by the outdoor fireplace on the porch when it got a little chilly. The house was comfortable, inviting and well equipped. I’ve already sent the link to several people that are interested. And Angela, the owner, was very responsive and wonderful to work with. Book it! You won’t be sorry!!!

We were a group of 7 friends that got together for a long weekend. On the Rocks was perfect! Plenty of space with great care taken by the owners to insure a cozy, comfortable weekend. Everyone loved the house!!
