Situated in the beautiful North Buckinghamshire countryside and just 4 miles from Silverstone circuit. The Old Dairy is located on Boycott Farm, home to Boycott Farm Shop (find us online) where we produce and sell homemade food, meats and produce. This property is perfect for a single person or couple and has a private garden to enjoy the sun as it sets in the evening and the farm shop is just metres away, catering for all your food requirements! plenty of off road secure parking too.m

The location is great and The Hayloft Restaurant really is brilliant, which is why we chose the Old Dairy. For us the bed was hard and uncomfortable meaning we barely slept the entire time we were there. On Christmas night we arrived back (quite late) to find the heating off and the cottage really cold. This happened quite often. The wifi was patchy and would switch off for hours. There is Sky TV though, so there are multiple channels to choose from when the wifi dies. On Boxing Day after 3, sleepless nights (and one very cold one) at the Old Dairy we drove 150 miles home to sleep in our own bed for 2 nights before returning. After 2 more nights there we gave up completely and returned home a day early. If the bed had been more comfortable, the heating and wifi reliable and the cottage had a really thorough clean (dusty skirting boards, dead fly down the side of the sofa) this would be a lovely place to stay.

We were very sorry to hear your visit was a disappointment and feel very upset that we were only next door and you did not mention your issues with us, when we could have tried to resolve it. The heating dial only needed turning on, and we have had not had any issues with the bed being uncomfortable from previous guests, nor were we aware of any WiFi issues in the old diary, but we will look unto this. Thank you for your constructive comments,,just a shame you did not mention during your visit to have improve your stay.

I was looking for somewhere quiet to meet a writing deadline and The Old Dairy turned out to be perfect. Peaceful, cosy, and comfortable, with lovely hosts, and an amazing tearoom and farm shop next door, I couldn't have picked anywhere better. I'd love to return one day.

Great location, near Silverstone and Oxford. Loads to see in the area. Park and Ride in Bicester very well organised for a day in Oxford. Cottage was small but very cosy, fresh eggs and scones with cream and jam at arrival. Great shop next door to buy lovely fresh home made food thats great after being away for the day. We definetly want to come back.

We spent a week at The Old Dairy and enjoyed our stay very much. We received a warm welcome, a complimentary afternoon tea and farm eggs. Although small it did not feel cramped and there was ample storage. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were impressed with the full size fridge/freezer, cooker and washer/dryer, nice flat-screen TV with Sky facility and good Wi-Fi connection. We loved the café/restaurant and the farm shop which is full of temptation, and the staff are delightful. Don't miss the Full Boycott breakfast, very popular and guaranteed to keep you going all day! Excellent peaceful location, good for visiting Silverstone, Stowe, Milton Keynes, with the Cotswolds slightly further afield. Just a few slight niggles; the bathroom has seen better days, bedlinen could have been newer and the bedroom floor needs attention, but with so many positives these flaws can easily be forgiven.

Dear Susan, Thank you for your review and feedback. We are pleased you found us to be welcoming and enjoyed your stay with us near rural Stowe (and that you loved the temptation of the shop and our Boycott breakfast!) We appreciate your comments regarding the bed linen and are in the process of obtaining some new sets. Our apologies this was not rectified before your stay. We will take all your comments on board to improve moving forward. We hope you will come back and visit us again. Kindest regards, Richard & Rosemary

The location is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for Stowe and Silverstone, as well as for exploring the area, It would be a perfect base for cyclists and walkers. For the carless, it's just a short taxi ride from several market towns that are readily accessible by public transport. Overlooking the farm and fields, the quaint Old Dairy has a proper kitchen including a washing machine, full size bathroom with instant hot water plenty of storage space for your gear, and a sunny private garden complements the cosy living room. The farm shop stocks a wide range of locally produced food and the Hayloft is a popular local eatery. Rosemary and Richard are warm and welcoming hosts as are the staff in the Hayloft and shop. The competitive rates represent good value for money especially when compared with the travel lodges and hotels in nearby Buckingham, for example..I only stayed for two nights at the end of a fairly hectic trip to the UK, but the tranquillity the Old Dairy offers was enough to restore my senses before a long haul flight and work on Monday..If you'd rather avoid a generic hotel room and like to support local business and rural producers, then the characterful accommodation the Old Dairy offers and the warm homely welcome of Boycott Farm are for you.. On a final note - the photos don't do the place justice - you simply have to see it for yourself. I'll visit again!

The photos don't really do this place justice; it's very comfortable and clean despite being quite small (a small sitting room with TV just inside the front door, a tiny kitchen packed with fridge, freezer, microwave, sink, washer/dryer, boiler, oven/grill/hob, and a Travelodge-sized bathroom & double bedroom). There is no DVD player despite this being listed in the amenities and the lack of a bedroom door makes the bedroom quite noisy: the fridge/freezer buzzes on & off all night and the kitchen & bathroom have extractor fans which run for about 20 minutes whenever the light is used, plus some noise from the shop's aircon unit just outside the front door. The cream tea on arrival was a nice touch and Rosemary was very accommodating when we arrived early. Watching the chickens from the back garden was very enjoyable.

So pleased we found this place. Perfect location, fabulous owners who couldn't do enough to help and superb farm and farm shop/restaurant next door. It was an absolute pleasure staying here and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again when we are back in the area. The cottage is a perfect, cosy size for 2 and has been converted sympathetically yet with everything you need for a stay. Definitely have at least one breakfast at the farm shop. All the produce is super fresh and super tasty. The black pudding was amazing!

Having booked the cottage for the F1 Grand Prix weekend, we could not have made a better choice. The location was perfect, helping us avoid all the traffic and the cottage was lovely to return to after such busy long days. Although small, it is perfect for 2 with a good lounge, kitchen and bathroom. There was a large built in wardrobe in the bedroom, so everything could be tidily put away. Nice to have a full Sky package on TV. Having the farm shop next door was great to buy anything from food for picnics or cakes for treats. Everyone was lovely and helpful and we found a cream tea, cake, eggs and milk awaiting us when we arrived. The local pubs were good for evening meals and the farm shop for breakfast if you chose that option. Our Grand Prix long weekend was brilliant and it was undoubtedly enhanced by having The Old Dairy as our base.

My partner and I stayed at the Old Dairy for a long weekend in April and such a lovely break. Situated on a working farm, the cottage is well equipped & has a lovely little garden with views where we had a nice BBQ in the sunshine. We were lucky the weaher was really good during our stay and the sun was shining all weekend. We enjoyed walks around Stowe Landscape gardens and my partner had a track day at Silverstone driving a Ferrari which was given to him as a birthday present!! There was a lovely little welcome pack of eggs and milk when we arrived which was a nice touch. The apartment was in great condition and located next to the farms Farm shop which meant we didnt have to go anywhere to source yummy locally produced food. All in all we had a great stay at the Old Dairy and will be coming back next year for our Easter break!
