Apartment 6 is situated on the ground floor, newly refurbished to a very high standard with a great Smart TV sound system, DVD Player and iPhone music doc. Free Wi-Fi is enabled in all apartments and there are many charging points available for any device using a USB lead. There are two good size bedrooms and a stylish showeroom. Parking is available for one car on site, the Town centre is about 2 minute walk.

Interaction with guestsWe are based on site at 67 High Street, the apartments are accessed via 4 Sun Lane Harpenden AL5 4ET. We will arrange to meet and greet and show you in to the apartment and ensure you are connected to the Wi Fi before we leave. Living locally we are always at hand should you have any requests during your stay. Nothing is to much trouble so please just ask.

Home from home.
We stayed here while our home was being renovated. Initially, it was going to be for a number of weeks but due to lockdown and delays, we stayed Feb through Sept! The apartments are so well equipped and comfortable which made our extended stay stress free and felt home from home. Tony even has Netflix and Amazon Echo set up and was an excellent host throughout our stay. My family enjoyed our stay very much!

Awesome Pet-friendly apartment. A+
Came to Harpenden because my dog was having heart surgery at the Royal Veterinary College in nearby Potters Bar. Harpenden House Apt #6 is a full service, ground floor, pet friendly apartment with all the amenities for both me and my dog. Clean, fully stocked, extras like great wifi and 3D TV. Coffee, Tea and milk in the fridge and even a free welcome bottle of wine. Harpenden as a town is quaint, friendly and the most pet friendly I have ever seen. Took my dog into several pubs and restaurants for dinner. Tony McFarland who manages HH is an angel. I’d stay here again in a second!

Perfect in all respects Veery very comfortable all amenities supplied . Very convenient to Harpenden shops/pubs railway1
The apartemnts are described as fully self contained - - usually one can find something not there - in this case everything is thought of to enable one to live as if t home - even a shoe horn supplied. All furnishings , whiteware, TV etc are of a high standard and the general ambience/decoration is pleasing. The apartments are located within the village of Harpenden which currently has 3 major grocery chains (M&S/ Waitrose/Sainsburys) there are an abundunce of excellent cafes and pubs and good general shopping. Harpenden staion is a short 10 min walk away with regular fast trains to London Parking is within the apartemnt complex and is both convenient and secure. Most important of all Tony the owner manager spares no effort in making one feel welcome and meeting one's every need. I unreservedly endorse Harpenden House

Amazing ten stars of of five!
We loved this place and so did everyone we’ve recommended it to! Tony, the owner is fabulous and so helpful. Any time you need something he helps right away! Dog friendly, super clean and modern, and very safe! A great place for a small family, couple or single person while on vacation! The perfect place to visit the country and also London... it’s about a 30 minute train ride into London and the train station is in walking distance! You don’t even need a car here you can walk everywhere from the apartment! There’s a grassy park just across the street and a horse back riding school Greenacres equestrian a mile away. There are tons of restaurants a five minute walk away. Such a clean, cute city too and everyone is so friendly! We walked to four different grocery stores for our groceries. Cooking was easy... the apartment has everything you need! And the outdoor patio is huge with a big table perfect for meal time in the sun! We highly recommend and will definitely be back! Great price too!

Wonderful Stay in Harpenden- home away from home
We had a wonderful stay at Harpenden House. We stayed for 3 weeks and could not have been happier. The apartment was modern, very clean, and spacious. It was our home away from home. We truly felt that we were in a home and not a cold hotel room. The apartment amenities were great - fully equipped kitchen, living room, large bathroom, washer/dryer, large screen TV, plenty of outlets and data ports and 2 bedrooms. The owner - Tony is wonderful very helpful and on site if anything is needed. Everything is in walking distance from the apartment - grocery, shopping, dining, coffee shops and the commuter rail to London. The town is lovely. Highly recommend.

Perfect home away from home
Exceptional quality accommodation and service, lovely village atmosphere and London is on the doorstep ( that is 20 mins by train!). Amazing hosts, ready to help with anything. I stayed for 6 months, alternating between apts 6 and 7. Both are really nice but apt 6 comes with a courtyard with a lovely well maintained garden which is important especially when winter is over. Hope I can stay there again soon!

Harpenden is a thriving commuter town located half way between St Albans and Luton. Although it has some 30,000 residents and a growing number of small to medium sized businesses, Harpenden still retains a 'village' feel with its tree lined High Street, town greens, period cottages, and Common – 96.39 hectares of open space that supports cricket, football and Golf clubs whilst boasting a County Wildlife Site designation. The Town Centre offers eating establishments to cater for all tastes, bespoke shops and three supermarkets. There are two further shopping areas in Southdown and Batford.
