This is a brand new re-furbished apartment which has been renovated to a very high standard. It is looking fabulous with a brand new kitchen, 2 brand new bathrooms, brand new beds with pocket sprung mattresses. It is luxurious, spacious and literally a stone's throw from the sea. It is almost like being on board a luxury cruise liner with stunning views of the unspoilt pretty Totland Bay. There are 2 bathrooms, large lounge/ dining room, bedroom with a king size bed and en-suite, a bedroom with a double bed and the third bedroom has twin beds, all with sea views. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is exclusive use of a beach hut and barbecue on the green adjoining the house and parking on this safe bathing beach. Fabulous holiday
This is a beautiful, spacious apartment and we felt so privileged to stay here. If you dream of falling asleep to the gentle lapping of the waves and waking up to the same then this is the place for you. The views are the sea and then ...more sea. Oh and being west facing there are, of course, the sunsets. The apartment is beautifully furnished and well equipped. Totland is a tranquil part of the island. Having taken the breath taking walk around Tennyson Down on our last visit, this time we took the coastal path northwards to Yarmouth and discovered that this too is an amazingly scenic route. We enjoyed a couple of days out on the east side of the island and all in all had a fabulous holiday.

Incredible sea-front location
Brand new and clean apartment with the most incredible sea views, lovely coastal walks. Also easy accessibility to the Needles and other West Wight attractions. Made for a relaxing holiday and we would love to return.

About the neighbourhood
Totland Bay is a sleepy seaside village. It sits within an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Beach is very pretty, sheltered, and extremely safe for bathing. The highly rated Waterfront pub and Restaurant is a 100m stroll along the promenade. The Bay is on the north west coast of the island and so enjoys views across the Solent to the mainland. The yachting, particularly around Cowes Week is very picturesque; unrivalled sunsets. There are convenience shops, post office and food take aways in the village; the larger village of Freshwater is only 2km away, which has supermarkets, library and specialist shops. Sainsbury's Superstore is 16k away in Newport, which also has a weekly market on Tuesdays. It is a walkers' paradise.
Getting around
There is a local bus service, but if you want to explore the Island, a car is recommended.

How to get there
The car ferry company Wightlink operates from Lymington to Yarmouth. They also operate between Portsmouth and Fishbourne which is is about 28 km away. The passenger ferries operate from Yarmouth to Lymington and Portsmouth to Ryde, and the trains for these ports leaves London from Waterloo station. The Red Funnel operates between Southampton and East Cowes for cars and West Cowes for a fast hydrofoil service to Southampton. We have an account with Red Funnel and can book cars at favourable rates if that is helpful. If our guests want a quote they should get in touch with us letting us know what times that they want to cross.
