Alpha Cottage sleeps 4, and has all the mod cons (incl. WIFI) to make your stay in North Yorkshire a really enjoyable one! Set in the peaceful village of Fylingthorpe, there are beautiful walks from the door, including the Cleveland Way, Cinder Track (disused railway line - now cycle and walk way) and Robin Hoods Bay beach which is 20 mins walk away. Amenities such as a village shop, bakers/butchers, pub and play park are all a minutes stroll away. As well as having a bus stop at the end of the road to take you into Whitby, Scarborough or further afield. The Space Sleeping: Two bedrooms give sleeping space for 4 people - one double bed, two single beds. The double bed in on the 1st floor, a skip, jump and hop to the bathroom. About the neighbourhood
Set in a peaceful and quiet village, with all the amenities you need for a relaxing break, Pub, Village shop (8-7), bakers/butcher shop at the end of the road...perfect for the bacon butty breakfast and the pint and meal at the end of the day! Robin Hoods Bay, a quaint little fishing village, is located just over half a mile from the cottage. Leave the car behind and wander through the narrow streets and passages, enjoying the tea shops, gift shops and pubs. Explore rock pools, make sand sculptures, find fossils and jet or just paddle in the sea. Find out more at Visit Robin Hoods Bay. Whitby is famous for Captain James Cook and Dracula, its Abbey and Whitby Jet. Board a boat trip, catch some surf and sand, or meander through the cob
Getting around
The bus x93 stops at the bottom of the road, so you can easily get to Whitby and Scarborough (and beyond!). There is a taxi service in Robin Hoods Bay.
