We were lucky enough to stay here for two weeks in the middle of winter with our two pre-schoolers. The Garden House is a spacious wing of a Manor house built in the Georgian style and has achieved English Tourist Board 5 Star Gold rating. It enjoys panoramic views of the rolling hills and acres of beautiful countryside. This house provides comfort and elegance of a very high standard at a very reasonable price.

The Garden House is entered through double doors into a central hallway. From here access is to the dining room and kitchen and utility room. There is one ground floor twin bedroom with luxury pocket sprung mattresses with a zip link to create a super-king size if required, LED Television. This room has an en-suite wet room with a powerful shower and additional electric shower.

Additional Rate and Availability Information
As part of our commitment to green tourism the house has a fuel allocation. This ensures that you, the customer, gets the best price possible.The allocation for The Garden House is £35 and this allocation is doubled over Christmas and New Year.

All bedlinen is supplied along with bathroom towels, tea towels and dish cloths for the kitchen. When the two person discount applies and you require separate beds please add on £25.00.

Booking can be made on-line on our website and paid for by cheque, bank transfer or pay-pal. The two person discount will not be displayed but will be deducted on receipt.

Conditions Of Let.

1. Accommodation: All terms are per week commencing at 3.30 p.m. Saturday and ending at 10 a.m. Saturday. If expected arrival is after 6 p.m. please inform proprietors.

2. Deposit: When booking please phone to check that the dates required are available. We will hold those dates for 7 days until we receive your booking in writing with a £100.00 deposit per week booked....

About the neighbourhood
The cottage enjoys panoramic views of the Cheviot Hills, and acres of beautiful countryside. It is open all year and even out of season is the ideal winter and early season retreat with its open fire and cosy soft furnishings. Adults and children alike will be fascinated by the pet llamas - Rowan and Mika. The friendly working collies are ever welcoming and George the rooster will sound your early morning call.

The cottage is 2½ miles from the nearest local Post Office and shops at East Ord. Berwick-upon-Tweed is only 4½ miles away and has a good selection of supermarkets, shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a sports centre with swimming pool and arts centre. The long, sandy, Northumbrian beaches, such as Cocklawburn and Bamburgh, are only a few miles away.

Railway: Berwick-upon-Tweed: 8.0 km
When travelling north on the A1, turn left at the East Ord roundabout onto the A698 signposted for Coldstream. The farm is signposted to the left after about two miles on this road.

When coming south on the A1, after crossing the River Tweed, turn right at the roundabout onto the Coldstream road as above.
